Anime convention problems

Postby Blitzkrieg1701 » Fri Nov 09, 2007 11:28 pm

Compared to many of the other requests here, this seems a little unimportant, but I could still use some prayer.

I'm hoping to go to Anime USA in Crystal City, Virginia next weekend, but I just found out yesterday that my travel and room arrangements have probably fallen through. I'm still trying to figure out the details of what happened (there seems to have been a communications breakdown with the other guys I was going with), but I'm already scrambling to work out some new last-minute arrangements.

So, there's two requests here: First, obviously, is that God will provide a ride and a room in time. Actually, this PROBABLY won't be too hard since I'm already talking to some other friends who are going, but having been caught off-guard once already I'm taking nothing for granted. Also, if you would, just pray for me during these next couple of days as things get sorted out. I'm already under kind of a lot of stress right now, and this is just the sort of thing that could really make things worse (I LOVE to stew over things that are beyond my control or not going acording to plan). So, yeah, please just pray that the Lord will keep me level-headed this coming week.

OH! And as a few of ya'll already know, I'm trying to organize a little prayer gathering there on Sunday morning. Assuming I do, in fact, get there already, please pray that God blesses that time as well :)

As one who has never been to an anime convention but would love to, I'll be praying that all goes well.

Yeah, thats sounds like a problem. But I'll pray for you as you go there, my fellow state anime convention goer(Wow, I just coined a pronoun). And also in hopes I will see you at Animazement next year as well.

Well, unless something else unexpected happens, the new plans should be all worked out. My new room will be MUCH more crowded that the old plan called for, but that's actually good, 'cos I'll only have to pay about half as much. :)

Please keep praying for the Sunday thing, though. I'm still not sure exactly how that'll work out.

Hmm, so it looks like God gave you what you needed yet again:)

I'm praying for you. PM me if you need any help with the prayer meeting (since I'll be at AUSA, God willing).
