Major Prayer Needed

Postby Angel37 » Mon Oct 29, 2007 8:51 pm

Chu-Chu( my sister) gave me some bad news today.

My step-grandfather, my only grandfatherly figure from my mom's side of the family is unable to attend my wedding. The reason is worse than his absence on my "special day".
Apparently he has an anurism (sp?) in or nearby his heart (Chu wasn't sure which) and it needs operated on or he'll die. Unfortunately due to his many other health problems (like radiation poisening from WWII) he may not survive the surgery. The doctors are really unsure of his survival rate, but he's decided to go ahead and get it done. My mom decided that once they set a date, she's flying up to PA to be with him and I asked Chu to tell her I want to come too. I haven't seen my grandpa in years and this may be the last time I ever do.....

Please, please, please pray. Chu asked that I get as many people praying about this as possible. My mom's real upset as she was very close to her step dad as was I. So...please pray. Thanks.

In my prayers, Angel. I'm sorry this had to happen so close to your wedding, but sometimes God works in mysterious ways. One thing we can count on is that whatever happens He'll be there to give you comfort and strength. I pray that the surgery will go well and God will give your grandpa the strength to heal and comfort your family while all this is going on. Keep faith.

A. since I basically cruise the Prayer Forum almost exclusively, I had no idea you were even getting married...so congratulations! :thumb:

B. I will pray for your step-grandfather; and for you to get whatever resources to get there.
