I'll be interested to hear it. I watched one episode of "Otogi-Jushi Akazukin" (related series) shook my head and gave up.

"Rental Magica" is turning out to be a really cool series (I've seen 3 eps.)

You may be interested in another series I've been following, "Mokke", which is also a teens vs. the supernatural show. It's a little slower, kind of somewhere between Rental and Mushishi. I'm also three eps into it.

Another supernatural/horror type that I've been waiting for, and finally saw one ep of (I think it started more recently) is "Ghost Hound". Very surreal, not clear yet whether it will live up to it's potential, but I can't wait for Ep 2.

Just finished up "Umisho". This one would have been a lot better if they could have resisted the temptations caused by a scenario with lots of girls in swimsuits (it's about a high school swim team.) Very funny, but I'm not so sure I can recommend it.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.

May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

Witch Hunter Robin is one of my favorites, and part of my purchased collection. School Rumble I haven't seen the anime, but the Manga is one of my favorites. Really good stuff.

Actualling, looking up Otogi-Jushi, I don't see all that much resemblance beyond the shared "Akazukin," which translates roughly as "Red Riding hood." So, both have a main heroine with shared taste in headgear.
EricTheFred wrote:"Rental Magica" is turning out to be a really cool series (I've seen 3 eps.)

Actually, I find it rather boring. The second and third episodes were a strain to watch. I'd have dropped it by episode four if two of the cast hadn't saved that one. If episode five back steps to episodes two and three, you can bet I'll drop it.

Actually, it's been on my to-watch list since the beginning of the month.

Jyuushin Enbu "Hero Tales" episode 3
Kaiji episode 5
Tetsuko no Tabi episode 1

Tetsuko no Tabi The is the kind of series that never gets subbed*, never gets licensed, and never gets noticed. Unless you're a train enthusiast, which I am not, the only draw is the character chemistry, which is believable, amusing, and even charming. For me, it was strong enough to carry the episode, but that won't cut it for a lot of people. You'll either find it quietly enjoyable, as I did, or the biggest waste of 25 minutes in recent memory. There is no middle ground.

*Beyond the first episode, which hardly helps the amateur subbing job.

Rewatched the sub version of Neon Genesis Evangelion ep.11
'The Day Tokyo-3 Stood Still'.Love it when the power goes off and
everyone looks at Ritsuko with the 'What-Did-You-Do-Now' expressions on their faces and she says:"It wasn't me!"
Of course what makes that so fun was the way it segues in with Misato's remark in the elevator:"It must have been an experiment that Ritsuko was doing."
This of course suggests that these little power outages have happened before whilst Ritsuko was running experiments on the EVAs.

btw:On an interesting note I see where Slayers and some other anime will be offered legally on the internet in dubbed form.
