Could you please pray for my mother?

Postby harina » Fri Sep 28, 2007 2:54 am

My mum suffers from serious depression and she takes many kinds of pills.. Now she is switching one of her medicins to another and is suffering from withdrawal symptoms and is getting these bouts... When she's having one she goes completely insane, starts yelling and throwing things around. It's really scary for her too. Her personality keeps switching up and down and she can get a bout like even more frequently than twice a day..

Please pray for her. Her illness is really devastating for our family and makes everyone feel despairing.. because we're not used to this.

:(

Indeed. I imagine it is even more scary for you mother than for you. I pray that she adjusts to the new meds quickly or the doctors figure out what's gone wrong.

Thank you guys. *hugs* You're so kind.

I'm glad she's not like that all the time.. for example now she's pretty normal but she gets bouts usually in the morning or late in the evening..

Thank you for all your prayers!!

She didn't have a bout yesterday morning which made me really glad. I don't know about this morning because I wasn't at home, but it seems to me that she's finally gotten a bit used to the new medicines and hopefully won't get bouts any more. However, she's as hysterical as usual and has to take pills for that every now and then so as to not to act like a maniac..

Anyway, the situation has now recovered to what we call 'normal'.. I will inform you if it gets any worse. Thank you again :):)

UPDATE:
Umm.. well, I just heard she DID get a bout yesterday afternoon.. but today she's been pretty normal. So I'm not exactly sure wether she's gotten used to the medicine. So please keep her in your prayers :/
