A friend in pain

Postby Takuya » Sat Sep 15, 2007 3:16 am

I have a friend named Nicole who's parents abused her, has had quite a few problems with boys whom have hurt and abused her, and has memories sealed inside causing her even more pain.

She... I don't know anymore if she's Christian or not, but the last cohesive thing relating to such was no, she believes but doesn't want to give in.

She claims she's only known pain and that she's never known love...

What's worse, tonight, and last night, I spoke to her and she began referring to herself in the third person as if someone else was typing. I don't remember the name but it claimed it was a wind elemental or some crap like that. I KNOW it was a demon that she allowed to possess her.

Please, pray one that she remembers and heals from her pains, two that she DOES get saved and seeks God out, and three that whatever this thing is leaves her permanently...

Please pray, my friends, and I will too.

I love you all, my friends, and again, thank you, those who have prayed for me in the past, and those who pray now.

Good night
~TK Matsuda~

P.S. ~ She's also revealed to me that she's been into some things like reading people over the internet spiritually and has something she calls a pendulum which she uses like one of those Magic 8 Balls. Please pray that God strips her of these and that she puts them down willingly.

I'll pray for her, but I somehow doubt a demon really did posess her.

Although calling herself some wind elemental is odd, it's probably just her way to get her sadness and anger out. You said she's only known pain and never love...again, probably all talk. A lot of people pull that type of stuff, especially if this took place in an online messenger window. It's basically their way of getting people to pay attention to them. Sure it hurts you, but in a sense, that's kind of what they want. They want their loved ones to get worried and pay attention to them.

True I don't know everything, but I'm just basing this off what has happened to me and what I've seen and heard other people do. It seems especially common with fans of anime and stuff.

But either way, I'll be praying for her still. The stuff about rejecting God is serious, but just saying the other stuff might not be as bad as she's letting on.

I'd say it's definitely important to keep praying for her; I don't want to pass any judgments, but the whole "wind elemental" thing sounds like it's from some nature-loving religion or something...she might be experimenting with other religions. One thing to remember is that even though she may not be Christian now, it's important that you don't try to convert her by force; it'll only drive her away. Best thing to do is lead her by example, show her through your actions that you care about her, and perhaps God will speak to her through your example. I'll be praying as well; she sounds like she's looking for the love that only God can give, but can't seem to find it at the moment.

You're right Bloom, that's what I sense from her too.

I prayed for her myself last night and... well I think she agreed to do so for herself. I'm happy about that, honestly, 'cause she ASKED me to pray for her.

Thanks, both of you, for noticing and acting. ^^

Very sad when children are abused. Don't worry, my friend, God helps you whether you're Christian or not.

Everytime I hear that someone is or was abused, it always makes me want to hug them, even if I don't know them...which is strange considering I'm the type of guy that rarely gives free hugs to even his friends....But, yeah I'm praying for her too...I have a friend who's done that third person stuff too (or at least he claims he did it)....

Well of course i will pray for her. I wish to give you some help. Goto a this website

http://www.gospelgreeting.com/

then click on Inspirational. If you have email, send the Father's love letter, narrated version to her. It is truly a beautifull video, i pray that it will open her eyes to how much GOD loves her. It contains verses from many books of the Bible that give confort and love. I pray all comes out well. And if you or she doesnt have an email show it to her in advance. But what i tell you is the best to do is pray, pray, pray, and never give up hope, trials may come and sin will attack, but remain strong for GOD has reign, does reign and will reign forever.
remeber this quote, "Fear Knocked at the door, Faith answered, no one was there"

p.s. keep me updated on how it all goes

GOD BLESS YOU!!!

I'll pray for her too. I recomend you watch the video called Father's Love letter off gospelgreeting.com go under inspirational, and then watch it. If you want show it to her, or just pick a few verses that show how much GOD loves her even in her worst times from the video. GOD bless

You and her will be in my prayers.
Footprints in the sand by Carolyn Joyce Carty

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand: one belonging to him the other to the lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the foot prints in the sand.

He noticed that name times along the path of his life there was only one set o footprints.

He also noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times of his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it:

"lord, you said once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of foot prints. I dont understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."

The lord replied:

"My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."

Thanks guys, thanks so much! She'd asked for prayer from me the night I posted this and since then has been praying pretty much every night.

That's just awesome, to me.
