Hi everyone.
I'm feeling alot better now to where I can move around.
I have been in hospitals many times before, but this was the first time that I was really scared. It really change my view on things and made me hold on to faith even more.
Here is the story on what happen,
Around Aug 29, I started to have problems breathing. In a few days, I came down with a cold and my breathing started to get worst. I frist thought that it was just because of the cold and I waited.
By Sept 4, it got worst. I was having shortness of breath that was so bad that I couldn't sleep at night. I ended up going to my aids doctor on Thurday of last week. I was sent to Atlanta hospital and was in ICU for three days and they found fluid on my lung and had me under oxygen untill they cleared it.
My blood pressure was sky high and they had to bring that down. I had three IV's and all kinds of blood test on me. They also found that I had fluid on my stomach and they had to give me a dose of stuff to flush all the fuild out. I lost 20 pounds in a week that was nothing but fluids. What they found out that this was going on for a long time and my heart was pumping more then it should and my body was keeping all the fluilds that I took on.
The bad thing about the flushing out the fluilds was, I started to have cramps and just not one, but like three or more cramps in my feet, legs, arms or hands. I have had shots before, but after this. I hate them.
Since I had to stay in bed, they give me a shot so that I wouldn't get blood clots and they hurt.
I never want to have deal with that again in my life.
I'm fine now, but I'm now on Blood pressure med and a med to make sure that my body doesn't let the fluild build up in me again. I'm on a low fat, low salt diet and I have to watch how much fluild that I take on as water or any soda drinks.
If I do this, then I will be fine and will not have to worry about something like this happen again.
