Give the kid a break, Tom. He's new. You can't expect a person to come to the boards and just know how it works.

Lacuna Coil.

I listen to many others with metal influences (Dir en grey, P.O.D., Flyleaf, Stone Sour), but Lacuna Coil is the only actual metal band I listen to.

Demon Hunter....big time....
As I Lay Dying are the only ones who come close on my list...though I can't listen to them for a long period of time....I wish they'd come out with an acoustic or instrumental version of their songs....but then again, I wish that for just about any artist I come across....
Oh, by the way welcome to CAA...

He's one of my best friends.

Ohhh, yeah. Like, 7 or 8 times. Absolutely hilarious and parodical (is that a word?) to the original Dio video.

Yeah, I know.

Call me blasphemous, but I like the KsE version all around more.

It would take ages for me to list all the metal I listen to.

Alice Cooper and Disturbed aren't metal.

There was a thrash metal band around in the late 80's/early 90's called Disturbed, though.

Indeed it would. XD

Nu Metal is as much metal as Pop Punk is Punk.
Thus, meaning Eric is 100% correct.
