My mother's friend and her grandchildren died

Postby Sapphire225 » Wed Aug 22, 2007 3:34 pm

My mom's choir mate and friend died not too long ago last week in a car crash at the age of 72. She had two grandchildren, both very very young. One of them I have actually known from the children's ministry and have assisted in taking care of. She was only 3 years old (and, to my displeasure, her birthday is today and she would have been 4), and the other was 4. Their funeral was held yesterday, and they died August 10 on their way to Florida for vacation. I ask if you could pray for not only my mother, but the mothers and fathers that have lost their children and for the family, along with the grandmother's children. (I believed she was widowed, but if she has a husband that is still alive, please pray for him too please). I'm sorry to say, but for some reason, I don't feel the grief that I thought I would feel tenfold, but I'm still in shock and feel sorry for the children and grandmother, along with the family, friends, and choir who have lost someone very precious to them. I haven't come to know the family like my mother has, but I can only imagine the pain they are experiencing, especially the mothers and fathers that have lost their firstborns and only children so that they can overcome their loss and know that their children are in paradise above their heads. That is all I ask of you. I would appreciate it very much.

I can't believe today's her (one of the children) birthday. I wonder what's going to happen to everything the parents bought for her? :(

Praying that God will comfort and strengthen the family. I can't even imagine what it's like to lose kids that young.
