If I remember correctly, there were some Fire Nation priests that protected a temple in honor of one of the Fire Nation avatar incarnates.

History: When Hotaro was only a few months old, she was abandonded by her parents under a tree, and an old earth bending couple that happened to pass by, picked her up and took her in. The old couple took care of her for many years, trying to help her how to control her water bending, but because they didn't really know anything about it, so they couldn't really help her much, and living in a village that was guarded by fire bending soliders, Hotaro had to attempt water bending in secret, but 5 years ago, before the Fire nNtion was defeated that secret was uncovered when a little boy passing by Hotaro's hidding place reported of her water bending. The next day the soliders came and tried to take her away, but because her foster parents sacrificed their lives, so she was able to run away. Then after trying to survive all by herself in the wild for a few weeks, she collapsed starved, and exhausted by a river thinking to herself that she must survive to avenge the old couple the took such to good care of her, that were killed because of the fire benders. Then she fell unconsious for a couple days, then as if by fate, Lilith and Jalka appeared and took her in and ever since the, they've been helping her control her water bending. Now after about 4 and a half years, she's come a long way, having almost mastered water bending, still training with Jalka and living with Him and Lilith, like a daughter.

You may have to change the History a bit, Rin. The war against the Fire Nation ended with the defeat of the Fire Lord 5 years ago.

I have a question on what water benders can do.

Can water benders take water out of a person's body? I mean I didnt' see anything like that on the show but technically you could do that, right? Then can we do that here? Or is something like that not allowed?

You can use water with a quick breath to freeze an opoonent to an object, like what Katara did to Jet in Book 1: Water.

Also, this enemy that our charas are currently fighting against are not GM sanctioned. They where instead sanctioned by a non-GM, sparx00. As GM, I have taken over these enemy characters, so sparky, you have no say in what these characters do, even if you brought them up. Sorry for being a wet blanket.

Okay, I'd like to know where is everybody? This game is still going, and I haven't gotten to the really good parts! Sure, sparx00 ruined it for all of us when he tied his own little group of enemies into the story, but I got everything under control. I decided to give these guys the shortest part in the story.
Or if any of you had gotten bored with the game, tell your thoughts right here. Thats what this thread is for.
