My uncle

Postby Jeikobu » Thu Aug 16, 2007 12:10 pm

You know the saying, 'it never rains, but it pours'? That's what's been going on with me lately. So I have another very, very important prayer request.

My dad just told me that my uncle is close to dying. I don't know many details, but I know he has bad cancer and sounds like he either may be or will be put in a "hospus", which my dad says means they'd pretty much just be waiting for him to die. Please, pray hard for my uncle, and also for his family, they all really, really need it. Thanks for all of your prayers everyone.

I'll pray for him and your family

"Hospus" is probably "hospice." And yes, I'm sad to say that your dad is most likely correct. This uncle isn't the father of the cousin you mentioned earlier, is it?

I shall pray.

[i]Two vast and trunk-less legs of stone stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, half sunk, a shattered visage lies. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare the lone and level sands stretch far away. On the pedestal these words are inscribed:

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€
