I need a prayer badly

I have had a recuring problem with both hentai and porn. I would stop for a day and go back to those sites. Unluckly my parents think that almost all animes are hentai. And well I need prayer from you guys even MSP:angel:

I will certainly pray for you, but I do want to add something. God is most likely not going to force you from looking at these sites. If you are serious about cutting this stuff out, then you need to block access to them. Also, if you find that you're most likely to view these things when lonely or bored, try finding something else that will fill your time so you don't feel like you need to watch it!

I'll pray for you. Also, does your internet come with parental controls? Even though you could probably get round them, it gives you extra time to talk yourself out of it.

Yeah, I understand completely. At least you're making an effort by telling people here about your problems. I struggled for 4 1/2 years before I came to the [Christian] sites I frequent asking for prayer. That began to help improve the situation, but not get rid of it.

Almost exactly a month ago I went to my youth group and confessed to everything. Since then, I know everyone's got my back, and between them, I have three really close friends who have been willing to take a stand and help me beyond everyone else, Accountability Partners.

APs are a Godsend, if you're willing, try and get some people you can trust and talk to outside of phonecalls and IM. I never thought I'd be willing to tell people of my addiction without being ridiculed, but I was surprised at the help and encouragement I recieved. It's a reliever to talk to someone face-to-face, as painful as it might be. (Oh trust me, I bawled when confessing to the group, it was the most painful thing I've ever done)

Thanks for all the advise(sp). Yesterday after posting this I didn't go to those sites as much but using the parental controls I would for some reason block all sites.

Wow okami you had a much harder time confessing it, as soon as I told somebody I called it a problem. I do have one ap whos really cool and really nice

But I was uber scared to post it on here

Our computer has a program called k9 web protection. It gives the person who knows the passwords complete records of every page visited. If you have someone else change the passwords so they can monitor where you go, then the temptation won't be near as strong. Also read Every Young Man God's Man by Kenny Luck. It worked with me like magic.

Oh, and as for sites that it blocks for no reason like porn or hentai, show the site to your friend. K9 can be used to allow individual sites through even if it at first blocks them. Believe me, it worked, and it got me free of addiction.
