Although I would bet anything that Takato and Jeri ended up together.

Agreed--the way they left it was absolutely perfect, though I would've liked to see how Jeri and Takato's relationship evoloved after that whole adventure--ESPECIALLY after he confessed his feelings to her before everything went down.

You know, someone on another website brought up a good point--what the heck was Joe, Izzy, Mimi, TK and Matt were doing at Soccer Camp?! NONE of these guys seemed REMOTELY interested in Soccer, or, to be quite honest--sports in general. Especially girly-girl Mimi!

I thought it was just a summer camp? Not a soccer camp... but It has been a while since I watched the first season so I could be mistaken!

As far as I can tell I have only seen the second and 8th movies... Is the first movie the beginning of the digimon movie released here in america or is it something else?

I love the movie that was released here in america! I still watch it all the time... the action scenes are my favourite!

The 8th movie sucked IMO the action was redundant and the story was dumb... but thats just My opinion!
CAA does the FACE!

The impression I got was that it was simply some sort of summer camp and that it was the first day because they were just settling in when they were first drawn into the Digital World.I also got the impression that while
Matt,Sora and Tai knew each other from before that Izzy and Mimi were relatively new to the group. In fact doesn't Tai or Matt say something about Mimi being 'that girl with the funny hat'?

Never let it be said I'm a guy who can't admit when he's wrong!

According to Wikipedia, they actually were in SUMEMR Camp--not SOCCER camp as I orignally thought!

Also, happy TECHNICAL annerversary! According to Wikipedia, the first episode of the first season of Digmon aired August 14, 2007!

I assume you mean 1997 or 2000, right? That's or we've all be endowed with the ability to see the anime of the future. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

And when I say I'm a night owl, I mean my clock reads 03:54 right now. I think the UK anniversary is different, so it doesn't really matter now. Right after Digimon finished I got Sky, and Sci-Fi started showing two anime series and at least one film a week. Will you shoot me if I say I traded up?
