The Famine

Deathmetal type stuff. Just got signed to good ol' Solid State. Dunno about you guys, but I'm excited that SS is finally getting some heavier stuff on the bandwagon again... :thumb:

They are getting back on with heavier stuff, because SOUL EMBRACED HAS A NEW ALBUM COMING OUT, MAN! SOUL EMBRACED!!

I wouldn't count on their new cd being heavy at all if it's anything like Immune, which was rather nu-metalish. Also, their vocals are quite weak; constant whispered screams just don't cut it.

The new stuff is a lot heavier than Immune. Check it out on their MySpace. I love Immune. It wasn't as good as This Is My Blood, but I still pop that album in and listen to it from time to time. I just think Soul Embraced is a lot better than Solid State's more recent choices, like Destroy the Runner and Twelve Gauge Valentine. TGV is okay, but why would I want to listen to an Every Time I Die-sound alike when I can just pop in an Every Time I Die album? I'm just excited about new Soul Embraced is all.

Interesting. Not my favorite sound but I'm enjoying it. And the SolidState band that I'm wondering why they picked up is "Life In Your Way."

Life In Your Way used to be awesome but Waking Giants just flat out sucks...their first two albums are great.

So The Famine seems to be the band that the original lead singer of Embodyment moved to.
