Well, I just got back from this church beach thing that my youth group has and it had its ups and downs, but... yeah. xD;;

Um, well... a lot of people have been saying how like... going on stuff like this makes them feel close to God and how it's so great and stuff, but for me... I don't feel close to God at all. D: I mean, at the moment I'm kinda really afraid that when I die I'm going to burn because I botched up being a Christian. D:

I dunno... I'm just really scared and stuff and I've realized how bad a job I've done and I sorta wanna tell someone, but I'm also kinda scared... ;_; I dunno... ._.; I just like... feel like I'm a robot or something or that I have like... a blackhole for a heart or something. xDD;;;

But not all the trip was bad. :D I met lots of interesting Christians, and it was cool hanging out and stuff. :D and it's not like I came back with nothing... I think I understand things a bit better, so praise Jesus for that. :D but yeah.. D: still... afraid. of... lots of stuff.

anyway, I'm... not really sure what I'm asking for at all... xD;;; I'm just... afraid. and... confused... and... ...you guys probably are too. xD;;; Sorry, but could I get prayer on this? ;o; just like... any help... would be so awesome, 'cause I really don't like this... scared... feeling. D:

It sounds like you're mind has a case of the thinking-a-million-miles-per-minute-syndrome...I get that alot too...Though, you've probably been doing this all week on this beach trip, I would seriously suggest much time in prayer...
If you're afraid that you didn't really accept Christ into your life, you're not alone...we've all gone through times like that...Just remember, faith is not a feeling....You may not feel good or even safe all the time, but God will still always be with you no matter what you feel...
You have my prayers... :thumb:

Bap... like Danderson said - faith is not a feeling. Sure, feelings can sometimes be very accurate indicators of real problems, but don't forget they can also be deceptive, overreactive and misguided.

If you're worried about past sins, remember: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." Once you repent, it's done with. Don't let yourself feel like it isn't. I'm not suggesting you forget - hard to remember a mistake that didn't have a lesson in it somewhere - but that you remember God has forgiven you.

Don't be scared. I think you were on to something when you said you wanted to talk to someone about this. Is there a mature Christian you can tell this to? They may be able to help you find relevant Bible passages that will give you understanding and peace of mind. And don't forget to tell this to God - He's the one healing and wisdom come from. Other people are just the route such good things sometimes come through.

Also... don't forget that after long times of stress, bodies get rundown. You might want to see a doctor to make sure there's no physical elements compounding your problems.

I'll be praying for you.

Piney.

To have peace with God is having a relationship with him too. Rom 5:1 "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," The whole passage explains a lot about having that relationship with God on Earth. Access To God: made possible through the Jesus Foundation (The Rock) With God on your side what else is there to be afraid of? The Bible says "Don't be afraid" over 100 times(I think). But the feeling you have is perfectly normal because you understand God's justice, but now you are forgiven! And you will see God some day in heaven!

The not feeling close to God thing is understandable too. Usually my closeness to God depends a lot on my relationship with him, which also reflects my peace with him. If I'm not at peace with God I feel either that nothing is happening or scared and not want to think of God much anymore. When I notice that happening, I pick up my Bible and Start reading. It never mattered where I read, I just flip it open. Mostly the new testament gives me peace more then the old but both are good. If I don't have a Bible I pray and put on my promise bracelet. (That just a bracelet I put on if I'm going to make a promise to God that I'll spend more time with him)(It's just a reminder)
Praying.

Let's just remember that many of the saints and some biblical figures weren't perfect followers of Christ either: David, Peter, Augustine, and many others certainly weren't 100% faithful. Yet they are still revered today for their good deeds. So, have faith, Bap. You're expected to slip on that narrow path every once in a while. :thumb:

With the "done a bad job" thing, sometimes I get negative and think of myself as a failure. It's definitely not good to have negative thoughts about yourself, such as that. Then again, you never know^^ I wish I could impact people more and like, make an impression on them in some way, but most of the time you just don't really know. But He knows. I hope I'm doing ok^^ Lots of figuring out I have to do myself, but yeah...

Praying for you for your fears. It's hard to not worry about things and worrying/negativity is DEFINITELY my personal, biggest weakness :/ I know your requests have a similar pattern too, but just don't forget that although you may not know now about thin gs are how you are, to worry... to dwell... it makes NOTHING better. Obviously, but yeah... ...now I'm rambling^^

@Pine: And, I'm not sure. D: there might be. like. people I can tell this too, but I have a hard time telling things to people face to face. xD; I dunno. @_@;;;

@Tsuki: Yeah.. lately I haven't been reading my Bible, but right now I'm trying my best to pick it up again. xD; I was just feeling sorta. discouraged and lazy, I guess? D:

@rocklobster: That's reassuring. :D

@Tenshi: xD Yeah, I need to work on my... self optimism to say the least. :D;;;

@Ian: I know, but it's not like... good or bad works I'm worried about, it's more like.. things like walking in the light, or like. Am I really, really trying my best for Christ and all that stuff, you know? D:
