Slowing to a Stop: Affairs of the Heart.

...Wasn't my LAST prayer request a life/death thing? ...Perfect.

Oh well... she's saved... thank God.

Her name's Michelle. She just told me a minute ago after a little pursuation that her heart is slowing to a stop... and she might not live the week.

She's a good friend... a little horny at times, something else to target for prayer, but she's still one of my closer friends.

Her current heart rate is 48... that's out of a normal 60... 12 BPS slower than it should be...

Whatever'r going on, I just suggested she try fear and adrenaline to spike her rate back up to normal or... higher.. whatever helps... I'm not sure whether to belay that or not... hopefully that answer'll come before action...

Wow... err... that killed my RP spirit... ...I gotta sleep anyway...

Thanks again to any veterans of my prayer threads and pre-thanks to anyone else who prayes, known or unknown.

Well, trying to use fear to increase the heart rate may not be the healthiest thing to do, but surely there would be some other way to regulate it. I will pray.

oh, hey... guess what... her sister told me what's wrong...

she's not eating or sleeping much... so now I know what's really happening...

it won't slow to a stop... she's going into metabolic hybernation.. in other words.. she's slowing down because she doesn't have the energy... she might go into a coma, but she won't die from my knowledge...

I'll keep her in my prayers.

Is she getting treatment? If this condition is simply from lack of food and sleep (and maybe anorexia?), they should have her on a diet plan and possibly sleeping pills for a little while. To be honest, the story sounds... sketchy. I don't know how well you know her, so I'll say is that I'd beware of online hoaxs.

You stay strong too, Tak. Just be there for her and I'm sure it'll work out hoax or not.

I'll pray that she'll realize that her body is God's temple too, I hope she would take better care of it. Praying.
