I watched Bleach on Cartoon Network until episode 16 and then missed several episodes afterwards. I'll probably pick it up again as it comes out on DVD. I think it's pretty cool so far, but 100+ episode series inevitably enter doldrums before becoming good again. Though, I haven't heard any fans around here knock it.

I'm watching History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Gintama, Death Note, D. Gray Man, and Claymore. The first is a martial arts comedy. The second is a science-fiction comedy set in Shogunate controlled Japan after aliens have invaded. The settings and plots of the next two are well known. I consider the last to be a cross between Berserk, Inuyasha, and Vampire Hunter D. (If that intrigues you, I hope that you look it up.)

Sailor Moon R ep 6. Somehow, I've missed this season (although it and Super S are the 2 most dissliked). I quite like the Makaiju arc, even though it's anime-only and all. The character designs and everything are just neat^^ Wah how I've missed Sailor Moon! And I SO can't wait till I get my Paypal stuff organized and get Fushigi Yugi! I'll be such a squealing shoujo fangirl it won't even be funny!

My brother and I finally decided to stop watching Tsubasa Chronicle (at about Episode 10 :shady: We should've stopped at about Episode 5). I guess it's just too random and cutesy for our tastes. I mean, Kurogane was cool with how he always gets way over-offended when people call him "Kuro-rin" or "Kuro-puu". There were some good moments, but it just isn't serious enough, and too episodic.
So the next anime I'm going to watch is Escaflowne: A Girl in Gaia (the movie). Wonder if it'll be better or worse than the anime....

Last night I watched maybe thirty minutes of the Escaflowne movie. It's very weird, seeing characters you've grown accustomed to, but who have different stories. And everything's drawn differently! It's mind-boggling. But Van seems to still be cool. I'm not sure yet which one I like better, but I think I like the way the anime was drawn better. Folken and Allen don't look all that cool in this movie, but they were the best-looking ones in the anime.

Heh it is odd seeing half the characters turn emo (not that some weren't already^^ But, for reasons...) But I still really enjoyed the movie^^

I'm back from school and watching anime like a mad woman!

--Toki Wo Kakeru Shoujo the movie
--Nodame Cantabile episodes 7-13
--Gigantic Formula episode 4
--Romeo X Juliet episodes 3-4
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Haibane Renmei

I never got the series before, I only watched the first episode when it was still in fansubs. My parents asked me to start up Netflix again, saying they'd pay for half of it, so I'm watching Haibane Renmei now.

Nodame Cantabile episode 14.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. the fight scenes aren't the best, but they aren't that shabby either. they're pretty average for an action anime series. however, i would still suggest giving one or two episodes a try; as the series is quite tame compared to the manga series. there's no full nudity, and the fan service is cut down quite a bit. as for the sex/rape scenes from the manga series, the anime series either avoids the scenes entire; or, if the scenes are important to the plot, they simply are implied but not shown.

Darker than Black episodes 1-4. the series is quite an interesting development. i was pretty shocked to see that it didn't have an overtly high amount of negative spiritual content; as i was somewhat worried.
