Used to deter spam?

More like suck even more money out of the world's populus. I bet the Post Office will be supporting this one because they have lost money due to people sending emails instead of letters...

Very unrealistic. Most mail servers are Linux driven... do Linux developers really give a crap about what Gates has to say? It would also require a huge revamp of internet architecture, which would cost a lotta money and time.

Enough money and time for Gates to never implement it.

Even if it was implimented, I'd give it a week at most before a new mail protical was developed that would surpass the existing one, bypass the "e-stamps" and be somewhat secure from spam.

Go ahead and let the fool try... he'll see how little power he really does have over a Worldwide industry that is rapidly fleeing from him like rats from a sinking ship.

Indeed I return to CAA!

*ahem* On a more on-topic note, I've heard of getting paid to check your email, but paying to send it? Whether it's with time or actual money, such an idea would never pass through atleast money-wise. There are plenty of places where email is sent in somewhat large numbers for a worthy cause or reason.

It's been ages btboy. Like, really ages ago since I saw you last time.

One thing for sure, Gates won't be taking any money from me, not over my frying computer.
