I feel extremely dorky asking this...
But I'm feeling prompted to ask for prayers for it anyway. See, I've been having rest issues this semester. For some reason I'm getting ahead of myself and now I can't even wake up when I need to. I thought spring break would help that but thus far the nights have been anything but restful. I couldn't fall asleep until 3 AM on sunday, then on monday I got hit with nightmares. I haven't had a nightmare in years until this past november. Something happened and now I get them just often enough for it to catch me by surprise. It just occured to me about ten minutes ago that I am currently actively avoiding going to sleep. please, please pray for me. Really that I'm allowed respite and rest free of interription by either nightmare or forces that want to harm me.

I'll pray. I had days of not getting sleep deep enough to wake up feeling rested. Are you sure it's not stress? 'Cause that can steal away chances of getting good enough sleep. If it is, I'll be praying for that too.

Remember what God said Etoh*the*Greato the "He has not given you a spirit of fear but of love, power, and a SOUND MIND." This is just an attack from the devil to rob you of peace and sleep I know how that can be. 
Just remember to plead the blood of Jesus over your mind also read the Word particularly Psalms 91 before you sleep so His promises will be fresh in mind and protect you from these attacks.

BTW, never worry about asking for even silliest things. God cares about even the littelest things in our lives and you have brothers and sisters in Christ who care about you.

Its just kind of the way I am. I mean the other posts in this forum are for really big serious issues, and I'm just not sleeping. Plus, I've always had a "Don't put others out" kind of mentality. Just how I was raised. Unfortuantely it's crossed the gap over to religious issues.

Sleep is not a little thing. Speaking as someone with almost 20 years insomnia/exhaustion experience I can tell you it's very important. A biblegateway.com search has 92 results for rest and 107 for sleep. Can't look up the relavent ones just now as I need to sleep myself.
