Kingdom Hearts - I BEAT SEPHIROTH!! (I made it dramatic. Please read!)

Postby Lunis » Sun Feb 29, 2004 12:27 pm

I BEAT SEPHIROTH!! *glomps everyone around* I'm so happy!! Here's my story.

PART 1 - Ultima Weapon

I had fought Sephiroth many, many times, only getting past the first or second Sin Harvests (It was just so fun to fight him!). I went around all of the worlds, looking for synthesizer items. Ultima Weapon wasn't on my list, but I knew it was a synthesizer item. I thought that if I collected the stuff, it would be on my list. I already had more than enough to make it, but I couldn't figure out why they weren't putting it on the list. I finally tried buying everything already on the list, and it worked! There was Ultima Weapon! Problem is, after I bought all those items, I didn't have enough Thunder Gems. I went to the Tarzan world to look for White Mushrooms. First try, in the campsite area, there were White Mushrooms! I tried only using thunder, waiting until they wanted me to, but sometimes I made a mistake or got impatient. I had to leave the area and come back, hoping for more White Mushrooms, and to my delight there they were again! Same thing happened, and I had to try again. I only needed one more. I came back, and there they were AGAIN! Third time in a row! I got everything I needed. I went back to Traverse Town and bought me long searched for Ultima Weapon. It felt so good to have my main goal (at the moment) completed!

PART 2 - Extra Helpers

I had gained many levels on that quest and had achieved level 83 (around 10 levels higher than last time I fought Sephiroth). I had also attained advice from another, more experienced videogamer: A handy way to avoid painful Sin Harvests that you can't get to in time is to just use Strike Raid. It will interrupt him from casting Sin Harvest. Another thing that helped me was that before, I never used my items, which killed me many times in successful Sin Harvests. Now that I was getting seroius, I got rid of that personal rule.

PART 3 - Close

That night, I fought Sephiroth. I got extremely far! I was into his green health bar when he hit me with an unexpected Sin Harvest, and I fumbled with my items. He got me. I lost, but I was so happy that I had come so far!

PART 4 - Far More Success than Expected

The next day (today), I decided to visit my old buddy, the Ice Titan (<-Sarcasm). I hadn't fought him in a while, and I hadn't beaten him. The extra leveling really helped, and I think I had gained more personal gaming experience, as well. I beat him fairly easily! :o I stared at the screen as the two-inch ice monster scrambled out of sight. Now I was in the mood for Sephiroth. I selected Platinum Match and started to fight him. Not once was I successfully hit by Sin Harvest (I was extremely lucky, a few times)! I dodged, blocked, and cured as necessary. Late into the battle, I noticed that his life bar was in the green, and one more string of hits would beat him. I didn't care what he was about to come at me with, I was going to hit him now. I lunged at him and gave it all I had. Suddenly I see a flash of light. The level-up message appears, and everything slows down. I sat in shock and awe, letting my heartbeat slow down, as Sephiroth stumbled back and disappeared into a flash of light. I had beaten him! I had won! I faded out of the arena and saved immediately.

Part 5 - Empty

Sephiroth stumbled back and disappeared into a flash of light. I had beaten him! I had won! A few minutes later, a thought came into my head. Now what? I had completed all of my goals: I had beaten the game (very long ago), I had attained the ultimate keyblade, and I had beaten the, proclaimed by all videogamers of whom I know, hardest enemy of the game. Now what?

Part 6 - An Answer

I have beaten every enemy in Kingdom Hearts, now...except for one. Yes, the only monster that has eluded my list of the beaten is the extra boss enemy in Agraba's (spelling?) desert. I don't have much of al will to beat it, though. I have yet to work up a successful strategy. I may feel a little empty, but I still hae some work to do. I need to find a few dalmations and trinities, grow to level 100, and obtain the Deep Dive movie (I may have even more than that). I am also waiting eagerly for KH2!

Did you actually read all of this?! If you did, I am impressed, and I thank you. I hope that this didn't bore you too much. I tried to make it dramatic, because that's how I feel about it, and I want you to be interrested.

Well, yeah. I'm not what I'd call an expert videogamer, but I'm really proud of my accomplishments. Uh, good job in beating him so many times!

Good Job! :thumb: Now, try and beat him in Final Fantasy VII! I haven't beat Kingdom Hearts yet, due to my lack of PS2.

Very nicely done ;). Very dramatic also. It kept my attention!! I too have beaten Sephiroth...(more times than I can count). Good job and you'll beat Kurt Zisa. He's easy as long as you use your items wisely :D.

Oh and by the way...if you have the regular KH then you won't see "Deep Dive". You'l only see "Another Side Another Story" which is an "intro" to "Deep Dive". "Deep Dive" is on 'Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix" so if you wanna see it you'll have to either import final Mix or just dl Deep Dive from the internet.

Sorry if I seem...uh...Like a know-it-all, but I just wanted to tell you so you'd know why you wouldn't see it.

Oops! I meant to say ANAS, not Deep Dive  . But, you didn't sound like a know-it -all. I understand you were just trying to give me helpful information. I'm really mad at them! Why did they take out all the cool extras?! I've heard that in Final Mix, if you beat Sephiroth, you get the One Winged Angel Keyblade. Is that true? If so, why would they ever take it out of the English version?! :sniffle: It sounds really cool.

I don't know why, but it's really hard for me to beat Kurt Zisa. Maybe it's because I haven't tried him in about ten levels. It's difficult for me when he starts spinning. I'll try him again, though. I had heard that the Phantom at the clock tower is really difficult. No way! Once I figured out the clock hands thing, I beat him extremely easily! The clock hands were as easy is hitting the thing with magic! Did you guys have any difficulty whatsoever? They all say that Kurt Zisa is easier, but I don't really think so. I'll try him and get back to you on that.

Final Mix is like FFX-2 Last Mission. I mean Japan makes a game and releases it to the US so i my eyes they have all rights to keep an upgraded version to themselves :p.

And about One Winged Angel? Yep thats true. Also you get an Ice Blade (can't remember the name) from beating the Ice Titan.

Also you get to fight an Unknown at Hollow Bastion!!!!!!

Lemme find a pic of the two keyblades and I'll get back to you :).

Congrats on beating teh Sephy! I couldn't beat him until I was at level 100, while others could beat him at level 50 or so..I'm so ashamed. Kurt Ziza was hard....but I find the Phantom very, very difficult.

Okay, nevermind. Kurt Zisa was even easier than the Phantom. All I had to do was summon Tinkerbell, and I could practically try to get killed and still have a lot of health!

Yesterday, I also retrieved all the puppies, got the last torn page for the Pooh World, sealed the Pooh World, and got Dream Rod for Donald (from Merlin for having all the "aga" spells). It also said that I have the complete gummi collection. What does that mean? On a side note, how do I get the ultimate shield weapon for Goofy? Okay so I did all those things and went to go fight Ansem. I beat him in record time (I beat him regularly, easily, and I've never gotten even close to dying against him). Then for the first time in my game, I got to watch ANAS. I've downloaded it on the computer, but it's just not the same  . Now I feel really empty :( . What am I supposed to do now?

Cool, I'd never heard of that Ice Blade, before! Yeah, I've seen some screenshots on that Unknown battle. It looked really cool!

Get 99 of every single item available in the game? Level up to 100 at the Destiny Islands? Try to beat the game as fast as you can? Just a few suggestions...

(You can get Goofy's Ultimate Weapon for beating hte Hades cup within the time limit)

I'll go there as soon as I get my other computer up. Right now, I'm working off a slow laptop. The clips literally take hours to load on this one.

Hey Wiggins;
if you want Mystery Goos, youve gotta learn to bounce those Blue mushrooms. I recoment using the highest Aero spell, since it casuses damage when an enemy hits it, it will send those little truffles flying. Juggle one 50 times or so and he might give you something nice and gooy.^^
But you are going to have to bounce him a lot more than that if you want to get the........

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Or you could go for the White Mushroom for the Mystery Goos, but it's harder to get one from them (You have to hit them with the same spell 3 times..you'll get the "insert spell here" arts, and if you're lucky, a Mystery Goo too), or Black Mushrooms sometimes drop them too.....Eh, just stick with the Blue Mushrooms. They be easy. Plus, it only took me 10+ bounces for the blue mushrooms to drop Mystery Goos for me.

Ideal Spot for the Blue Mushrooms would be Neverland (outside the ship, where you fought Captian Hook) Just fly around, hit the things...

*never could get to 100 bounces, so I couldn't get the......*

I've managed to beat sephiroth too -- I was level 80 at the time. Quite difficult -- stocking up on elixirs is definatley a good idea.

My brother and I worked on the same game and managed to get Ultima Weapon (the maxed out keyblade), too. ^_^

I get Mystery Goos from White Mushrooms almost every time. That's probably because one of my buddies has a rare item ability. You know, it lets rare items appear more. No matter how hard I try, I can't bounce the Rare Truffels more than twice! Annoying!

Thanks, UC, for the compliment. :P

You have to synth almost everything in the synth shop, then eventualy you will be able to synth the Ultimateweapon. It sure has great strength and reach, but I think its looks kind of lame. Like a long sword covered with "stuff".
My favorit was always the LionHeart.
