Once again...

My friend from California needs prayer. She needs to see a doctor, but her parents don't agree between themselves about it (her dad thinks she should, her mom is against it), and she doesn't want them to play tug-of-war over her. She's feeling so bad it's making her fall behind in her classes, but she can't drop any courses to lighten her load without her mom's permission - which she isn't likely to get.

Please pray...that her dad will take his proper role of leadership in the family here, and/or that her mom will be given a more compassionate or submissive spirit. Or if not, simply pray that God will show His power here in some more miraculous way. Just please pray that He gives her a way out of this situation.

I'm so frustrated and upset for her right now I could almost cry. When she told me her dad thought she should go to a doctor, I was so happy because I thought my prayers had been answered - I've been praying that she'd be able to get to a doctor for ages. And now this.

Still, I'm waiting on and trusting in God, and she is too.
