Anyone know any good websites for streaming music?

Postby heero yuy 95 » Sun Feb 25, 2007 3:07 pm

Heya, guys, well the name of the thread is pretty self-explanatory. I've been using youtube to look up music, but i'm tired of getting a bunch of random videos. Anyone know any good legit sites where i can stream music for free? and if so, a link would be appreciated. thanks!

Purevolume.com. Search for any band and listen to the full versions of select songs for free. Same goes for myspace.com, but I only use that if I know the address already (i.e., http://www.myspace.com/thedecemberists), rather than searching for it, so I can't help you much on that one. XD Hope that helps a bit, though!

last.fm is the best I've found. You actually download a player that streams whatever you want to listen to. You type in as many tags, or artists as you want and then listen away.

I easily consider it the best internet utility I've run into.

How 'bout Live365? They're got a ton of free stations.

Pandora.com is awesome I've found alot of new music there. It will give you the option to type in an artist or song title and it will find artists with similar styles to them.

It's limited for free users, I believe. It was a fun ride using the awesome tool and then it came to an abrupt stop when they asked me for money.

Though, I second radioblogclub. :O
