Card Theft
My ATM card was stolen on tuesday. I won't have a new one until after finals, which will probably cause absolute mayhem with my finances and cause even more stress in what has already an extremely stressful quarter. I think the prayer request here is pretty much that I dont spaz out any worse than I already have about this...

I just found out that someone switched my In-N-Out card. With an empty one. I thought it was a computer problem with In-N-Outs system. I'm losing all faith in people... this is freakin rediculous.

wow. . .>_< that does suck. however, I know what it's like to live in CA. grew up in Los Angeles. yeah, always have to be careful abotu money stuff. I'll be praying everything goes well.

If you suspect that your ATM card is lost or stolen, the very first thing you should do is go to your bank and request them to void your current (lost) card. (They can do this for you if you provide them your SSN). This should cut your losses unless you are incredibly unlucky and whatever thief got your card empties all your funds within seconds.

I cancelled the ATM card as soon as I figured out that it was missing. The IN-N-Out card was fixed by In-N-Out... apparantly whoever switched it threw out the other card so they just changed the balances.
