History Day

Postby Anna Mae » Sun Feb 18, 2007 7:15 pm

I have been working very hard on this extra curricular project since before the beginning of the school year. My first competition is this Saturday (Feb 24), and I do not feel prepared. This is the last year that my mom will let me participate, so I am wishing to do really well. I very much appreciate any prayers.

Well, I am reading this late, so technically you have already done this. Perhaps, as God is timeless, so are prayers.

I didn't have time to post before the site went down, but your success was in my prayers during the event, and day before as well. I hope that you did great! :thumb:

Well, it can't have gone too badly since I got first place and am moving up to state-wide competition. That came as a big surprise. I completely expected the guy who got second to get first. Luckily both first and second place get to go to state, so I will see him there (and probably be surpassed by him). State competition is on the last Saturday of April, so I have quite some time until then. I have been recruited to give my presentation around various places in my community, and people really seem to like it. Me, I'm just happy to spread the word about social justice and bring glory to God.
