Coheed and Cambria

Any fans here? IF so, what's your favorite album? Mine use to be Second Stage but I've really been listening to IKSOTSE3 lately.

Wow, welcome to CAA. There are several huge Coheed and Cambria fans here, and I'm one among them.

My favorite is In Keeping Secrets for sentimental reasons, but I really love SSTB and Good Apollo.

I love Coheed. Took me a while to come around, but I really like there stuff.

Coheed is awesome. o.o/ I like Good Apollo but IKSSE3 is pretty good too.

The lead singer's vocals are quite original.
I would have to say the only song I've heard from them that I found above average was "Welcome Home" but I've barely heard any of their stuff.

You should listen to Everything Evil or the Crowing. Most people like those. Unless you like popular radio type music you'll want to listen to the Suffering, A Favour House Atlantic, or Blood Red Summer.

What happened to I?

Why is the first CD the second story?

Did they say that? I've always heard that they were going to go back and do part 1. It was going to be called "The Bag Online Adventures of Coheed and Cambria" or something weird like that but then he changed it to The Amory Wars. Unless Claudio changed the plan, I figured they were still going to go back and do that.

Well i knew the comic was coming about but i didnt know the cd was. That's great, more coheed. Though i wonder how this next album will sound with the new drummer and bass player.

It’s hard to say. We haven’t given an official word, but they’re working on the record. Matt is playing bass and Chris is doing drums. This time around, I’ll cut tracks on my rig at home and then I’ll send them over the internet to Chris. Then Chris will put drums down. Then I’ll send them off to Matt, and Matt will work on some parts. So even when we’re not together, we’re working. Whereas before, when we weren’t together, we wouldn’t do anything. Everyone was focusing on their own thing. Whereas this time around, yeah, we’re not together, but we’re still working. We’re still constantly making music and I think that’s great for us.

Claudio seems to be optimistic about the current placeholders. I have faith!

I like In Keeping.... best, but they're all quite good.

"Al the Killer" makes me happy for some reason.

Have you heard the acoustic version of al the killer? It's pretty good. So is faint of heart.

I haven't heard either of those, but I want to. I've heard an acoustic version of Favor House and I must say it was excellent.

Does anybody else here like Claudio's Prize Fighter Inferno solo project?

The new people are awesome. I'm sad Josh and Mic left, but it's Chris Pennie from the Dillinger Freaking Escape Plan and Matt Williams from HE IS FREAKING LEGEND.

Good golly, those guys are good. I'm okay with THEM as replacements.

PFI is okay, also. I wish the CD was more varied, though, or, I wish it was more focused. It's hard to explain.

Well i like a lot of the PFI songs but theres a few i dont like. But i pretty much love all the coheed songs. I like the bee keeper song from MBBM. Anybody seen them live? Freakin amazing! They kind of improvise the final cut and go where they want with it. But the light and the glass was awesome live.
