I found this in my Bible. It's in reference to Psalm 14.
Angel: My Lord, the earth is filled with those who say, "There is no God!"
God: So, my messenger, what do we do with these people?
Angel: My Lord, they are fools.
God: Perhaps, but they are free. I force no one to believe in me.
Angel: Yet, the wise always seem to find you.
God: That is because they seek me. Those who seek--
Angel: Yes, I know, Lord, they shall find. But how do we get through to those others, the godless ones?
God: You must trust. My signs and wonders surround them. There is the witness of those who believe. And there are a few angels.
Angel: But they keep explaining all that away.
God: So they do. They are free, after all. Their destiny is in their hands, in the choices they make.
Angel: Including the most basic choice of all.
God: Yes. Especially that. True love is not forced. It gives and awaits a response. We must trust in love.
Angel: And hope?
God: Yes, always hope.
