Three Prayer Requests!

Postby Rogie » Thu Feb 26, 2004 7:31 pm

Please remember my great aunt Maxie, who has cancer and doesn't have very long to live. I don't believe that she's a Christian, so please keep that in mind. Please pray for the family, as well.

Also, please remember a woman at my sister's work who has a brain tumor that keeps getting bigger. She also only has a few days to live, and I'm not sure whether she is a Christian or not, so please pray for her soul, as well, in case she is lost. Please remember her family, too.

Finally, please remember a man that goes to our church. While our church was at the movies watching "The Passion of the Christ," he got sick and may have had a seizure. He was on the other side of the theater, and I was never able to completely find out what happened, but they did take him to the hospital, so please pray for him.

(By the way, "The Passion" is a very powerful movie, regardless of some odd visual things (basically the scenes involving the devil). If you're of age, you should consider seeing it.)

I'll be praying.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

Wow... it makes me sad to think of so many people going to the hospital after seeing that movie :(

Anyway, I will pray for all of the above.

I'm praying.
Foresight and Hindsight

Showed me two different streets.

The first showed me fame and fortune,

The second wishes to change my defeats.

Update: My great aunt Maxie has passed away, so please remember her loved ones. Also, the man who had complications at "The Passion" on Thursday night was in church this morning, so he's doing a lot better.

Thanks for your prayers, guys, and please continue to remember the woman at my sister's work.
