Shatterhearts Choice Pick Horror Flick

Postby Stephen » Wed Feb 25, 2004 12:31 pm

Ok...this will be somthing fun to do...as you can tell by the title its a horror movie thread of sorts...the deal is...the members can control what title appears in my sig. Every once in a while I will make a poll....you vote on the movie...and the winner after a few days will take the crown as Shatterhearts Choice Pick Horror Flick. Since Feb is almost over...I chose that one...Scream 2 wins. Now...for March.....(first film to 10 votes wins, or about 5 days)

Dude...you forgot Dawn of the Dead! The remake comes out March 19, and the originial is awesome.

That is my choice as a write-in (although I already voted for Resident Evil :eyeroll: ).

Now I know what you guys are thinking:
"Oh Ash voted TCM cause it had the word Texas in it..."
....and I almost did. But I didn't! I voted Scream 3...just because Steve was telling me about it last night and it sounded funny. Too bad my tolerance for horror is like -10.

Oh right...about that siggy. *runs off*

About the above spoiler. KOOL!!

I loved Res. Evil! Definatally my pick of the movies above.

Some people would say its not close enough to the game, others would say it was a cheap action movie with a duff story line. To them I say :"Just because you watch films like Lilo and Stitch".

Can't wait for the second!!

Please put Blade2 and Friday The 13 in your next poll Shatterheart!!!

Well Blade is not really horror....I suppose I can. I figured putting Freddy vs Jason would be for people fans of either genre.

I'd like to write-in Killer Klowns From Outer Space. Best goofball horror ever. Other than that, my vote is for TCM because it's the only one of those listed that I've seen.

I also voted for "Resident Evil". Though it didn't do well at the box office as other movies have, I thought it was quite good. Besides, I've always been a fan the "B-Horror" or "Spaghetti Western" type movies anyway.

It has a great lesson, though: man should not attempt to play God. It ALWAYS backfires. ;)

Hmm...Resident Evil has a sound lead....I will let this go a while longer...I wish someone would vote for Jeepers just cause I liked the 2 films and all movies deserve at least one vote...

I haven't seen either of those movies, so I can't vote for them. :P

Jeepers Creepers...pretty good horrors. The second one was the best I thought. But they still aren't as good as Res Evil.

Well Blade is not really horror

I thought about this one and well, Blade 2 is pretty much the same genre as Res Evil. A horror/action flick. So if Res Evil can get in the surely you can sqeeze Blade 2 in. Go on Shatterheart, you know you want to ;) .

I could go on all day about movies that should and should not be on the list. I'm assuming that you will make a new list next month with some different movies, so I will wait until then to make more suggestions.

Cute. I can't judge, though, as I haven't seen any of them, save "Children of the Corn" on TV once. I've never been into "slasher" horror flicks. I like more psychological stuff, serial killer thriller movies, that type of thing. My personal favorite of that genre is "Seven".
