various prayer requests

Just a variety of things I've been praying for, and thought it would be an idea to post for others to help out as well^^

Ok first off, my mom fell off a chair yesterday and she thinks she cracked some ribs, but not sure (still able to go to work and things like that, so probably just really bruised, still pain all the same :/)

Also some prayer for some of my non-Christian friends, who are making some huge decisions in life. Just got a postcard from one of my friends and says that in January she's spending a month in Mexico with her new boyfriend. Things and people sure change after grading... But yeah prayer for her and those adventures, and others that I know too with a list too long to really remember^^.

Also, prayer for my Bible study group. We went through reading and discussing James over a period of a couple months, and feel like we really need a theme, or to just go out and minister and stuff. We also have to think of how we would go abouts with if a new girl (who's a very new Christian, but not sure where she is with things right now) come into our group, knowing that some people like doing more "advance" discussions and so on, and yeah... So prayer to work something out, that the group won't mind doing (always someone to disagree, but yeah).

And finally, prayer for myself and a bunch of upcoming stuff...

Finals are next week for me so prayer for those.

Also prayer for work, because after classes end, I'll be working alot more and if I absolutely HAVE to, taking ONLY 1 class next semister, so if things go that way, prayer that things will all work out.

Also in the new year, my Bible study group are people from another church and I heard that their youth only has 1 female youth leader. For my own church's youth, things aren't... too great and they have enough leaders (which is why I never became one myself) but thinking of going to the other youth. It'll probably be a little different working with another church like that, but it's not like I'm abandoning going to my own church services and all. Just want to... go where I'm needed, and I feel like God wants me to help out some there. So yeah, prayer for that.

Also, just prayer for future decisions and all that for next fall. Wanting to go to Bible college, but I'm still not sure which one I want to attend, and have a couple ideas in mind. I'm more just waiting to God for him to point me out, because I want to go to where HE wants me and not just where I want me to go. Occasionally I get a little impaitent and wish I could know things so I could be prepared to send in applications and all ahead of time, but patience is a very nice thing to have^^ So I'll wait on Him and where He wants me to go (not like I even have a chosen career path or anything, so yeah no idea where I'll even end up). So yeah, just praying for future stuff like that.

And finally, I just want Him to change me into the person He wants me to be... I really do want to take this time to just really be able to grow, and especially the time during Bible college. I just... KNOW that great and huge things will happen in the next couple of years... No idea what, really, but I just know that with Him in control, amazing things will happen, doors will open and so on^^

Long list, but that's just good prayer practice! Sounds like a good idea branching out with a new youth class. I'd recommend Haibane Renmei, but that's 13 weeks long and hard for a visitor to comprehend. Perhaps a topical study guide that deals with one issue per class?

Oh I guess I didn't explain right^^ My Bible study is from another church, but they are college-aged people like me, but are involved as sort of leaders in the youth as well. So yeah, they aren't youth themselves, and it's the study that's wanting to figure out some stuff while I just want to simply get involved with their youth. Sorry I didn't make myself more clear there^^

*sigh* Adding another requests because I'm just frustrated...

Ok, already our town's been hit by a couple freak wind and snow storms and I missed lots of classtime due to that. Lats night another wind storm hit, and I missed my exam that I spent all day cramming for >_< So I have my second exam today which I also went through a bunch of stuff with, only to find that the college isn't open! I'm just like kinda "grrrr!" right now! It really is sad sometimes, when things don't go the way you want :/ I mean, I just want to get these finals done and over with. I'm just worried that it'll conflict with my work, since I already filled in a form that I'll be available all the time (except Sundays) after this week, and that means missing out hours and all, which I'm in need for because of my saving up for tuition and all v_v... I also have an exam tomorrow that I'm realllllly hoping I'll be able to get in for that, at least.

So yeah, if you guys can pray for this whole situation that would be great^^ All I can do know is contact who I can to get things sorted out. *sigh* And I was really looking forward to getting a bunch of projects done this holiday break too^^

Let me harken back to the days of yesteryear, when I was faced with finals. Freak storm cancel class? WOOT! Perhaps there is a silver lining..maybe the final(s) will be cancelled? Or did you need the grade to help you out? Praying for smoothness.

One more quick request...

I'm struggling with this essay of mine... It's been tough because as I've said, I've had all my exams rescheduled which hasn't been fun concidering the pile of work hours I've been doign (being Christmas and all). Hardly had enough time before to study for one thing and did NOT get a good mark at all one of my finals >_< I just don't have time and simply have the hardest time trying to concentrate on schoolwork betweek 10-12 at night (most of my hours have been to 10PM :/)

Now, I got 2/3 finals done and like I said my first one went HORRIBLE and lukcily I got a decent mark on my essay of it or else my overally grade would've dropped further... >_< Now, Ihave a take-home essay final and it's due Thursday, I work today, I have free time tomorrow all-day and tryign to get it done by then. It's one of those one where I'm simply having a hard time to make the word count minimum, so I need to do that before I can even start revising and just v_v *sigh* I wish I had more time to do all this, but yeah...

Prayers would be much appreciated on this. My LAST final of the semister and I'm done, but I want to actually do a GOOD job on it, with my lack of time :/
