More like doesn't need to :p Azumanga Daioh was basically a set of comic strips, sort of like Garfield. They may have a common point every few strips or so, but it's just a comic featuring schoolgirls going to school and otherwise doing a whole bunch of nothing, just like Seinfeld.

Well, Steel Angel Kurumi I checked out a coule days ago on ADVfilms and watched the trailer. From what I have saw, yes it does contain 'un-nesserary' parts too it. The animation is great looking, and the character design is excellent. I personaly would buy it for the art,
but I don't know much on the story ect.

but I do have a wallpaper of one of the characters

oh yeah, I just orded the boxset of Azumanga Daioh , can't wait to get it, its soo funny!! :P
