Bought my first Sarah McLachlan CD today

I bought her album "Surfacing" today after work.

I have finally become enlightened.

Have trouble removing the stickiness of the electronic protection sticker from the CD case though. :|

That is an excellent album. She has on heck of an amazing voice. If you like her, you might want to try anything by Eva Cassidy or Dido's No Angel.

Yeah, I read on Wikipedia that Surfacing in particular sold 11 million copies.

I will keep an eye out for the other two artists you mentioned, just my room is lacking physical storage space though. :)

I highly recommend her older albums, her new stuff is still quite pretty but back in the day she had more of an indie edge. 'Surfacing' is gorgeous, I'm also rather fixated on the song 'I Will Not Forget You', not to be confused with 'I Will Remember You'

Best video EVER. I really admire Sarah for stepping out there for a good cause and making a statement.

I also bought 'Solace', but like 'Surfacing' better still.
