You beat me to posting it this year. XD

Favorite CD this year is tough, but I'd have to say the overall winner is "Brother, Sister" by mewithoutYou.

Favorite indie CD is Edison Glass' "A Burn or a Shiver" that came out much earlier this year.

Favorite major label CD is probably The Blood Brothers' "Young Machetes."

Most original artist this year was The Sound of Animals Fighting.

Favorite concert I saw this year was probably The Showdown here at Sector 7-G. They let me sing Josh Scogin's part on From the Mouth of Gath Comes Terror. =D

Best live performance this year that I saw personally? Emery at The Tabernacle. Best one that I didn't get to attend? OK Go at the MTV Music Awards.

Let's see....I can answer at least a few of these questions. XD

Favorite Album...Either House of Heroes's "Say No More" or The Format's "Dog Problems". And I can't forget about Copeland's "Eat, Sleep, Repeat" either, of course. XD

Uhm...Hmm. I think that's all for now. XD

Well, seeing as how I haven't heard very many albums this year, I'm going to have to go with mewithoutYou's Brother, Sister. That CD is a masterpiece.

I've heard that Edison Glass was a lot like the little brother indie version of Relient K in sound. Is there any truth to that Jaime?

I think whoever told you that is basically deaf.

Edison Glass is art-rock, a la The Mars Volta. They have textured, angular guitars and soaring melodies and stuff. If anything, they might be better musicians than Relient K, even if I like RK more. Brad Wood, who produced mewithoutYou's Catch For Us the Foxes and Brother, Sister produced Edison Glass' album if that gives you any idea of what they're like.

Terminate Damnation was last year. Try again. Judging from what you like, you might want to give Showbread's new one a nod. ^^

So, I'm gonna do a top ten list since I bought a crapton of records this year. Anyone who wants to follow suit, please do. I'd like to see some stuff I missed on other people's lists so I can have some Christmas ideas. ; )

As far as I remember, Converge doesn't actually swear and I don't remember any gratuitous sexual content. It's a lot of postmodern poetry kind of lyrics like The Chariot.
