Garageband = not for PC = me not happy

Got a question for you computer people out there. I had a Mac for a while and while I did, I fell in love with the program called Garageband. It's a basic mixer program with instruments and drum kits and the best thing about it is that you can use your computer keyboard as an actual keyboard for the instruments and such. Needless to say, I no longer have a Mac and now I have a PC. I have found mixer programs for PC but none of them have the keyboard interface that was so nice in Garageband. Anyone know of any PC programs that do?

Have you tried looking for a Mac emulator for PC and running it inside that? That may be your best bet. I hear Garageband is fun

When I'm not on my Mac and I want to record stuff, I use Audacity a pretty good bit. It's not bad at all.

Ever tried using Linux? I can't figure that thing out.

Or maybe you could just form a real garage band like Nirvana.

Or... buy a Mac or somethin'.

Proppellerhead softrware's Reason is a very good PC package, with drum machines, synths sequencers all with a patching interface like an equipment rack its very good, tho i'm not too sure on pricing anymore, but theres a cheaper student version available if i remember correctly.
