I'll pass on the brain poking, but I will ask how you did (wins/losses) in the Halo party.

Hmm... that certainly is a long time. Personally I'd like to know how many total kills there were in the entire 390 minutes.

The only thing I've spent too much time doing recently is playing Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters. I was at a friend's house with basically nothing else to do.

I was playin this old Genesis game called "king of the beasts" or something the other day, and it was sweet. You fight other monsters in Japanese cities Tekken styli and get extra points for damage done to the surrounding buildings. It's good fun.

That's a long time with Halo anyway, bet it was fun.

As a fellow gamer, I must say... that is so beautiful.

So... did you or your brother played well?

Yeah, been there done that. Probably about 10 times or so. Halo is great. Any time you get like 8-12 people playing it's awesome.

My friend and I pull an all-nighter frag-fest on the PC over a LAN connect between my two PCs online. We played Halo and Wolfenstien. This best game was Halo with 32 peeps on one very fast server, it was pure crazyness. I got 3rd place and my friend got 6th.

we should all play a few games sometime

6.5 hours isn't too long for gaming, but if it's the first time you tried then good on you :) keep extending it until you reach in 30s, then you can come over to my LAN parties.

mmm, Halo...

6.5 hours isnt long for gaming, not at all

Awesome! I've done many of those in the last couple of years...most were quite longer, actually, and I'd say that 6 and a half hours isn't near too long. There are so many different possible gametypes that you can play that game forever.

We will probably do it on a Saturday, that way it won't seriously affect anyone's schedule (assuming no one has anything to do on Saturday). Then there is always the summer, which promises to be rather long (May 7-August 28).

Whoa... slow a sec, cbwing0. By "Gauntlet" do you mean Gauntlet Legends, the original or some game I'm not familiar with?

I liked Gauntlet Legends, though it's a relatively mindless game. For some reason I just found it quite fun. Those poor guys on the first level... they got annihilated countless times by my friends and I.

Interestingly, my dad started playing Gauntlet Legends and liked it. He had a completely maxed character eventually (despite the fact that I never owned the game and just played at other people's houses...).

I'm talking about Gauntlet: Dark Legacy for the PS2, which is very similar to Gauntlet Legends. I would highly recommend it if you enjoyed Legends.

Yeah, I've actually played that too (and consider them to be basically the same... one is just a bit more complex). My only access to it is at one friend's house, so it's rare I play any. I suspect I'll beat it eventually.

I liked Dark Legacy quite a bit better, in that it requires a bit more strategy and work than the other (more worlds, Generals, etc). But the enemies generate much slower, which makes it easier, and robs you of the pleasure of annihilating a massive group with a 3rd level Turbo Attack. Ah well.

Young Padawan ZiP, you have much to learn in the ways of the Force...

I've played Red Faction 2 for over 9 hours.
