Yeah.

"Casimir Pulaski Day" mentions God, and "The Man of Metropolis Steals Our Hearts" blatantly praises God, though as a metaphor.

But as previously posted, it's mostly his stuff from Seven Swans.

Rich Mullens. There is no better, and in my mind, there shouldn't be.

Other than that, Chris Rice, Mewithoutyou (You debate their worship? Go listen to C Minor) Third Day (I'm Happy Shark Gomer, by the way), old DC Talk, Clannad (Christian Celtic, YAY!) and last but by no means least, the one, the only, the unforgettable and excellent music of: Casting Crowns. (Would You Take The Place Of This Man?)

Wonderful. Thank God that He has blessed so many with a talent and a desire for worship. Rich Mullens is still the best for real praise and worship songs, but these other ones are certainly uplifting and strength building.

Amen.
With your doubt, all is comfort
We are all as we appear
No more questions left unanswered
No more wonder, no more fear
Nothing is beauty, nothing's feeling
Blood where there once was a soul
So I ask you, prove yourself
Make me believe that you are whole

Plus One.

And I say that with ZERO SHAME WHATSOEVER.

Relient K and Barlow Girl win a lot, too.
I shall move mountains-
with only a grain of confidence in the unseen,
I shall do the impossible
For nothing is impossible when one is willing
to reach for the unreachable.

With faith as my shield, there is no doubt all things are possible!
Believing the invisible, aboloshing the darkness,
Remembering that I am never alone,

THIS IS HOW WE OVERCOME

My thoughts exactly. I was looking through my music library yesterday and I suddenly realized that Jennifer Knapp and Jars of Clay are pretty much the only Christian artists left on my list.

I guess Downhere, Starfield and Tree63 are okay too. I still have one or two songs by them. Heheh, and the Blind Boys of Alabama

I'm slowly getting into this genre. I like Third Day, Rebecca St. James, Delirious, Sonic Flood, and Michael W. Smith

Yeah! Seriously! I don't get it either. The church doesn't need to try to be "with it." Old hymns are awesome.

Anyway, I'm not particularly fond of any Christian artists, because they all seem to be "the Christian version of x" which I suppose sells well, or they wouldn't keep doing it, but I don't like that.

Though I really love David Crowder and what I've heard of Five Iron Frenzy.

I do think it's funny when secular music tries to copy christian...Say with copycat bands of Norma Jean and Underoath.

Remember what Jesus said "If they are professing in my name, do not stop them. He that is not with Me is against me." or something like that. I stink at memorizing verses.
BTW, Nora Jones is jazz, not pop.

Yea old hymns are excellent. i am not a fan musically because they are just to slow but like when The Passion band did the Hymns cd (which I HIGHLY recommend) I fall in love with the words of the songs

David Crowder Band. Maybe it's just me, but lately, a lot of the other worship leaders sound the same and DCB seems to be the only worship group that's been pushing creativity musically, in terms of style. Just look at A Collision.

So, welcome to CAA, and you're amazing because I'm the resident Showbread fan, and they made the top of your list. : D

That other stuff isn't too shabby, either...FIF, BS2, WBCC, Underoath...have you heard The Devil Wears Prada yet? You might dig them.
