Something to thank for

Postby harina » Sat Nov 04, 2006 2:04 am

I had been very depressed this week (well, I'm almost always depressed but this time for real) mainly because I had a job I didn't like but still weren't able to quit it straight away. I knew my employer was searching someone to replace me, because I had said I'll quit. So, yesterday I was praying that God would do something about it so that I wouldn't have to go to work today. And this morning I got a message saying that I don't have to work anymore.. I was so reliefed! I just want thank God for answering my prayer.

That's great to hear! Isn't God awesome?

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€

Seems odd to praise God for someone losing their job, but if that's what you wanted...

Hope this frees you to pursue a better vocation.

Oh, not having a job is not a problem for me at all. I'm a student and live with my parents so the job just gave me some extra money.. ^^' But it's not worth it, since it stressed me so much.
