I'd have to go with Spock myself. What about you?

Spock, by far.

BTW, I did see one original series episode when it was first broadcast. It was The Tholian Web. I remember seeing Kirk fading in and out, dressed in a rather bulky space suit. I think it scared me so badly my mom never let me watch another episode until it was in syndication, years later.

I'm going for Uhura! She was the most stylin' lady on the bridge...at times the ONLY lady on the bridge!

She ALWAYS had her hair and nails straight, and legs to DIE for!

Spock. Live long and prosper, my fellow CAAers.

The Spock and McCoy jabs were the best thing in the series, though...

Heck, I liked everyone on the cast...with the possible exception of Kirk. He was necessary, but not one of my favorites...

I loved Spock.

Chekov is a close second.

yeah. If you read Star Trek Memories, you'll find out she and Shatner got along real well.

That's the beehive-wearing nurse that helped out McCoy sometimes. She was also played by Gene Roddenberry's wife.

Who also played the voice of the computer in just about every version of Trek AND
Deanna Troi's husband hunting mother that gave Picard all that trouble in STNG,
Lwaxana Troi. She also appeared as Lwaxana on several episodes of DS9 where she and Odo had a bit of a thing.
The funniest Lwaxana DS9 episode was the one where she had the headache and every time she was near someone they would end up expressing their TRUE feelings for another person. But I digress.

I voted for Spock, mainly because I loved the line from that one movie...

"...And they are not the hell your whales."

XD

Other than Kirk and Spock though, I can't remember what any of the other characters even looked like, much less acted like. I haven't seen the Star Trek movies in SO long. XD

That was Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home--the FUNNIEST Trek movie...ever!

The part when Kirk almost gets run over and he says: "Well, a double dumb-___ on you!" is hillarious!

Seeing Kirk and Spock in our time rocks my socks!

McCoy "Hes dead Jim" Maybe its just because I read some books and hes the only one to make it to the next generation on his own since as story line goes I guess he still alive and really old.

Scotty is pretty cool too

But there would have been no show without Kirk.It would kind of be like The Lord of the Rings without Frodo or the Presidential elections in the 1950s without Ike.
I mean yeah, you would still have a show but it wouldn't be the same.

There was a novel published in the '70s or late '60s that pretty much expresses what Kirk fans feel about now:SPOCK MUST DIE!
No seriously there is a Trek novel by that title,it has to do with the Organians,Klingons and an Evil Spock Clone created by a transporter accident.I had a copy when I was a kid.Not the greatest literature but it was fun trying to figure out which Spock was the Real Spock.

ive bean reading some star trek novels by willam Shatner as of late and I am really interested in them basically they deal with how Kirk is revived by the borg and lots of junk happens but it happens during the post generations era he basically gets it were his soul is pulled out of the nexes again by an ancient civilizations machine.(since now is then andthen is now and every moment is forever in the nexus. (Oh and cool stuff like deminsions shifs as well as kirk getting rehitched happens yet I still have yet to read all of them.

I went with Uhura, I guess more because I was impress that she was created as beautiful, intelligent, strong African-American woman during time then not many were view or protrayed as such.

Spoke was very interesting and complex character. I love him and the Dr. constant arguments.

My favorite Star Trek ep would be the one where they met those dudes that were half-black and half-white. I forget the name, but I thought it was quite a powerful episode.
