i haven't been on here much...but...anyway...i was watching a movie just a minute ago...and it made me think...if Jesus came down right now...would He take me? would He recognize me? would He know my voice?...and...i started to become worried...
you see...i while go...something had happened to my dad's computer...but it wasn't my fault...it had something to do with some sort of music thinggy...and he had asked me if i had downloaded songs before...i told him no...but...that's not true...i have. 2/3rds of my collection of music IS from limewire and from just pressing the save botton on WMP, but does it make it alright if the site says you can take the music you just can't sell it or anything...most of my music is stuff that's over seas and that's never been imported here...or else you can't find it anymore...is it wrong to dig up that stuff? anyway...i need prayer...in order to tell him the truth...again...
also...they're are many other things that i have done...and...they make me feel like i have a heavy heart...i don't know what to do about the things i done in the past...they...they still haunt me...they torture me...
i need you, Lord...i need you...why can i not hear you?...have i hidden myself from your voice so much that i can no longer hear you? Lord break these walls i have put up and shout from the heavens to me. let me hear you, oh Lord, so i may kneel and worship you. i need you Lord.

However, when it comes to guilt...
Perhaps it might be good to come clean with the dad about downloading at an opportune time (like after the PC is fixed?).
Your prayer to hear God's voice is note worthy. If you have trouble hearing God, maybe just try to feel Him. Just remember that God loves you as-is, He doesn't just love perfect people, otherwise we would all fail. That's the benefit of grace. God hears your prayers, too. Be assured of this. It's all over scripture that God hears us.
So, pray your prayer KNOWING that a loving God hears you, and then just sit quietly while God holds you in His loving spirit.

it was fixed that night...he even figured out it was coming from his own computer from something HE downloaded off the internets.
heh...yeah...i need to remember that...a lot more often.

No, I don't think it's wrong. If the site allows it, and most of the stuff you can't get, I believe you can download it, just make sure it won't land on CD or something ( if you want it, get a copy of a CD )... and don't redistribute it! IMHO
