CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

OK, this is a bizzare comic, and I'm kinda wanting the opinions of other christians about it. The main character is an extremely effemate guy who think's he's crazy because he hears voices telling him to kill others, and has some moments in his past when he just blacked out and, when he came too, someone he knew lay dead in front of him. Fairly gothic, somewhat macabre, and has a lot of blood and so forth in it. Kagerou

Art-wise and ability to tell a story, I found it quite engaging. Very nice development of the artist's style from the older to the newer work, too. The creator is quite good at pacing and storytelling, especially as the comic gets more seasoned.

So I enjoyed the plot, but to be honest, I'd have a lot of problems recommending it on to others. Especially with the innuendo, sex and nudity (not there 100% of the time, but still there). A lot of the plot elements were quite dark, too. Not to mention the clashes between it and Christian theology. I'm not going to keep up with the series because of it: while I have a high tolerance level for some things, some of the ideas and content are things I'm uncomfortable with prolonged exposure too.

So there's my opinion. ^^

I don't have a high tolerance for language, and dropping an f-bomb on the second page kinda turned me off. Maybe I'll read more of it later and write a better review, though. <3
