Is God your Valentine?

Most of us "single" people groan whenever the ides of February draws near. After reading a few post bemoaning the coming "holiday of love", God put in my head a verse that I've been memorizing. So did a search for a few additional verses to post here to encourage my fellow brothers and sisters.
Love is patient.
Love is kind,
It does not envy,
It does not boast,
It is not proud.
It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no records of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.
Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 12:4-8
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
Deuteronomy 6:5-6
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:7-9
He said unto him, "What is written in the law? How readest thou?"
And he answering said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself."
And He said unto him, "Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live."
Luke 10:26-28
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 13:34-35
And here's an interesting & short article from a Hebrew words perspective.

To God, it seems that love not "romance" is the heart of the matter.
