I watched a few episodes of it, it was pretty good and I like the main character a lot. The one girl's obsession with Squid Girl was a little strange to me though, but it's an enjoyable show. :3

I watched a little bit. I decided the manga it's based on was better. It has all the same jokes, but it seems like the anime changed a couple things to make it more children-oriented, such as
removing the knife from the fight scene with the older sister. Instead she uses her hands, which doesn't make a lot of sense.
Or changing the order and timing of some of the jokes. I also think the short-story format they use makes more sense in a manga. Well maybe not; Azumanga Daioh pulled it off excellently, but in this show I just feel eh about it.
Also, the cosplay-maniac friend doesn't really bother me (except in a comical sense). But maybe that's because I had older sisters who made me dress up from time to time when I was a kid. Sometimes even in men's clothes.

It's a mild spoiler but she is getting a bit more brazen, especially in things she says which are starting to be a bit off colour.

Oh that kinda sucks then. Remove the violence and leave/add innuendo...what were they thinking?
