Who should I cosplay as?

This year I want to start my costume early. So I need to decide who to cosplay but I can't.
I think I would either want to go as Eureka or Lain or someone from final fantasy
but I have to decide soon because I want to get a short hair cut but lain has that long hair thing lol I need help

:3 If you want to get your hair cut, go for it! If you don't mind saving up a bit for a wig, it'd be a good investment, especially if you want to keep cosplaying in the future. *O* Just go for a character you like, and look (a little bit) like~

true I just have lains hair color and everything so I wasn't going to use a wig if i cosplay as her
lol I like both of them and look like both of them^^

If you want to be someone from Final Fantasy, you should do someone from VI. Celes comes to mind, but if hair length is a problem then Terra could work. Or the one little girl with Sketch. I don't think there were any other girls.

I've not play that ff game I should play it I heard its really good
anyways the problem with hair is I've never used wigs and I have a short hair cute so yep...Terra looks awesome though

Lain has long hair? Perhaps you are referring to a character of the same name from a different series, or to a different media than the anime? To me, this is "Serial Experiments Lain", in which Lain, IIRC, has one long sidebang, and everything else is high neck length or shorter. It's a really attractive styling, actually.

One thing I think concerns for cosplaying is what theme the anime con is doing. Neko Con has a different theme each year. Consider how a character works with a theme? Say how could Eureka or Lain work in a Western like Neko Con is doing this year? Maybe add a cowboy hat or cap gun or Indian headband with a feather.

no she has short hair
she just has a thing on the side thats long
