Name a series you've wanted to finish...

...for the longest time, and finally completed it.
For me, it was Ai Yori Aoshi. I don't know if any of you here, have heard or seen this yet. so, I figured I'd share some info with you.

Suggestive themes make this inappropriate for ages 13 & under... However, despite its cheezy, yet humorous storyline (I like cheese & cheezy btw
) , I find this series hard not to pass up. Other than that, it's a really inspiring series about love, family and friends. Kaoru, the male in this story, is similar to Tenchi Muyo, except in a more realistic traditional Japanese setting.
I find it hard not to compare myself to his story in many ways. Main difference is, I don't have friends close by, and I haven't yet found, or met, my Aoi. However, when my biological father was still alive, I would have many friends come over, and hang out, just like in the series, and well, I won't go into details about the mischievous stuff....lol
So, feel free to name a series, and give some detail about why or what got you into it. It helps to know that there are people who cherish stuff like this, and others wanting to look into series that they've never seen or heard of before.

DeathNote. I stopped watching after
L died.
I keep meaning to finish it, but never get around to it, because I never feel like watching anything depressing.
Also, Code Geass season 2, for basically the same reasons as DeathNote.

I'm still trying to finish Hikaru No Go, but it has 75 episodes and I think I'm on ep. 20 and there are more interesting and eventful anime that also want my attention. The person I borrowed it from has probably already forgotten that I have it.

I've always wanted to complete "Planetes" properly. I stopped at Volume 3 (mostly because I couldn't find the rest at FYE) and watched the last episode on YouTube with subtitles, but I would love to finish the series properly.
I would also love to finish watching GetBackers. It's an interesting (if not long) series that caught my attention a while ago, and I never got around to finishing my collection. Best Buy has the complete series on DVD, so I may trade in the few disks I have and plunk down some green to get it.
Kino's Journey is one anime that I REALLY want to finish. I jumped into it mid series thanks to a mistake at my local GameWare (they put Volume 3 in a Volume 1 Case). Once again, I saw the last episode on da Tube, but I really wanna finish this one properly--its a great story!

Code Geass. I watched the first episode, but other things have come up that are just more interesting to do. I still want to finish watching it, though.

Bleach
I've started the anime, jumped around a bit, but I haven't exactly 'finished' what has been released in the States yet. I would like to watch more, but it's been too hard to get the DVD's from the library and trying to catch them all on Adult Swim has been near impossible. That and there's so many episodes!!!!!! Wah!!

Get up to date on Oh My Goddess manga (I'm about 4 volumes behind US releases) and 'Ranma' manga (I've never got around to the last volume for some wierd reason.)
In anime, I would say "Southern Cross".

I still want to finish Monster (the manga), I'm so close but I just haven't had time to sit down and get into the last few chapters.

In a short bit here, it's gonna be Big O.
I might have seen an episode back when it was on Toonami, but Anime wasn't my thing then so I probably left it behind. Invariably I did get into Anime and regretted never having really watched it. My first college roommate had the complete boxset, but I only got through the first disc. Next year we roomed differently, so that opportunity was shot. Recently I caught some of it on YouTube and got back into it. Of course I should feel guilty about this, so I'm adding the series to my Christmas list.
It had some pretty awesome promos too.

manga this time: Please Save My Earth. I gave up on following manga because it's almost impossible to keep up, so unfortunately, I can't finish this one. Shame too, because the first 7 vols were very well-written and drawn.

Same here, but I have no intention of picking it back up.
I need to finish Evangelion and Rurouni Kenshin.
