OK, this thread is for you to post anime that you've been having difficulty finding or that you've been keeping your eyes out for. If someone happens to know where they can find it (legally!), then post a response telling where it is!
I've been trying to find Kenko Zenrakei Suieibu Umisho, Amaenaideyo, DearS, Fate-Stay Night, Gauken Alice, Nagasarete Airantou, and Rozen Maiden.

Has Gakuen Alice even been licensed? I know the manga has, but I don't recall any news on the anime...I think you may have to result to fansubs with that one. Either that or move to Singapore and watch their English dub on TV. :/
Otherwise can't you find Rozen Maiden at various anime stores? If not, I'm pretty sure I saw some of the volumes on eBay's buyitnow option. ^^;

Yeah, most of what you listed hasn't been licensed. Geneon had DearS, Rozen Maiden, and Fate-Stay Knight. Right Stuf and Amazon should have some of those in stock, although the FSK dvds are on a counter if not sold out at Right Stuf.
If you can't find them online, you could try a local Best Buy.

Birdy the mighty vol 2. I know it's 90$ at amazon right now, but that is too much for 2 eps. I already tried to buy it twice while it was 10$. I hit at the wrong time.

Maybe I'll find it on my satellite or something..
If not, I'll see if I can find it online..

For now, I am just waiting for Blood+ to be released on DVD...*shakes fist at Sony*
I suppose I can lump in that fact that I am waiting for word on Ouran High School Host club's dub announcement and release.

I saw the Fate-Stay Night (not sure why you're adding the 'K') on the shelf at Fry's the other day. I assume it's simply unsold merchandise from their last Geneon shipment.

O.o Woah that was creepy.
I guess it was just announced that Sony plans to release Blood+ on DVD in March
On March 4, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring out the first North American DVD release of Production I.G's Blood+ anime. The series is currently running on the Adult Swim channel in North America. Both the US$119.95 collector's set, which will contain the first 25 episodes of the series, and the first US$24.96 single DVD, which will contain the first five episodes only, will be available on that date.
yaaayyy...

I'm waiting for The Wallflower (
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge--The Transformation Of A Beautiful Young Woman) to be dubbed and released. I heard rumors about it in an anime magazine (It wasn't Newtype, but I can't remember which one).
I'm also waiting for My Melody to either be dubbed or subtitled. I love Kuromi and the fact that she is voiced by Junko Takeuchi (A.K.A. Naruto's Japanese female Seiyuu)
Oh, wait. I just announced my fondness for Sanrio merchandise...
*runs away*

I would like to find the Read or Die series. Have been looking at Hastings, but no luck yet...

RoD is a great series, originally a movie, which then spawned an OAV, I believe. Try looking online, I know I've seen it at the Hastings near here, but that doesn't mean they all have them.

Waiting for 5 Centimeter Per Second and Ouran Host Club on DVD, and Baccano! to get licensed.

Read or Die began as a Japanese light novel, which was then ripped to a couple different mediums by different people, including the 3 episode OVA, which I happily own. There was also a Manga adaption, but it was pretty terrible, least what I read. After the OVA, they came out with the television series, which I have not seen but I've heard it was pretty good.

Most of the stuff I want but can't find seem to be older stuff that's between rights holders right now. Top of the list is Robot Carnival, though Lenseman and Twin Signal would be sweet finds too.

I know that you found the answer to that, but I had already posted the news about it on Dec 23 at this thread.
http://www.christiananime.net/showthread.php?t=41181&page=3I try to keep update on release dates for the US as much as I can in that thread.

Also, The movie was the OVA just cut and edited for Cartoon Network, just like Blue Sub no.6 was made into what look like a movie, but was just edited for Cartoon Network.

I want a bunch of old anime that I'll probably never get unless I import it from Japan. Problem with that is, I wouldn't be able to understand it well enough. ._.
One example is this old show that used to air on Nick Jr. called Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics, aka Gurimu Meisaku Douwa. I loved that show as a kid, but you can't get it on video in the US. There are some dubbed episodes floating around on Youtube, but I want the Japanese version. :<

THAT was anime?!!? Whoa...so I was an otaku back in the day...wild... While on the subject of Nick Jr. I would LOVE to find this old anime called "Noozles" that used to come on. All I remember was that it was about koala bears, but that's about it...

I REEEEEEEALLY want Lucky Star's first DVD to come out.
Also, I am trying my hardest to find Strawberry Marshmallow, Bottle Fairy, Dokkoida?!, and Doki Doki School Hours, which are all Geneon titles. Anime that I wish were licensed are Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight and Hitohira as well as the Koreanimation feature "Yobi The Five Tailed Fox".

I go to Amazon and other online sellers to find titles that don't make it to the shelves any more.
As for me, I would really love to see the YKK (also known as Yokohama Shopping Trip) manga and the OAVs make it into English. Unfortunately, this just isn't the flashy series that normally gets across the sea, but now that Mushishi is here, I have hope. I've puzzled my way through most of the Japanese volume 1 of the manga (fortunately, there's lots of visual and not much dialogue), and I'm now Alpha's number one fan in the U.S.
Unfortunately, until YKK gets to the US, if I tell anyone I'm a robot named Alpha's number one fan, they get the mistaken impression I have a really weird Power Rangers fetish. So, for me, it is really important somebody get this done.

Also, Maya the Bee was anime that was showed in Nickelodeon.
Fushigi na Koala Blinky, also called Blinky the Wonderful Koala US distributor was the BBC and Celebrity Home Entertainment and there was never any tapes or dvd's every release of the series.
For the US, it was renamed Noozles. I was a fan of the show and even like the dub cast for it.
Blinky's voice was played by Barbara Goodson
Pinky (Blinky's little sister) was played by Cheryl Chase for only five eps. Morgan Hallet played the voice of Pinky from ep 6 thru ep 26. Cheryl Chase did the voice of Angelica C. Pickles in Rugrats.
Sandy Brown (the girl that owned the two koala bears) voice was done by Lara Cody. She has gone on to do other roles that a lot of people don't know.
Some of the roles that she has played are,
Rosemary in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Lily, Miho Mukai]Roy Mustang

Houshin fricking Engi. The anime is TERRIBLE, absolutely horrific, but I still want to watch it. My college anime club doesn't even have it. ><
Aside from that, I want more Saiunkoku Monogatari and Glass Mask 2005, they're subbed so sporadically ;____;
....I'm also looking for a Koukou Debut and Mx0 and Fairy Tail anime, cuz none of these exist and that's a bloody shame.
