Hey does anyone here know when the rest of Kodocha will be released? Has Funimation not gotten all of it licensed? It's just that I haven't heard anything since volume 13 came out a couple of months ago...
I really like the series and I'm interested in continuing it. I even searched youtube and veoh, and though they have subbed episodes, no one seems to have 2 episodes after where volume 13 ended...
Thanks!

I check anime dvd list and they don't show any volumes coming out for the rest of the year. The best guess is, Funimation hasn't finish all of the dubbing yet. After all, the series is 102 eps long.

You do know that none of us are ever going to see all of the eps of Case Closed in our lifetime.

Maybe so, but I will try. Maybe they will be shown in heaven. Nah I doubt that.

Geez, 80-81 episodes out of 400+ episodes. America(Or more specifically Funimation) needs to pick up the slack. Obviously I don't see anything fun about Funimation if they don't even bother to tell you what their future plans are. You know its been since like 2005 since new episodes were released on dvd. Im not counting the early seasons that they've put on to dvds in the past couple years.

As of two days ago in Japan, the episode count is now at 485, with more to come.

Add 11 movies (one of them came out in April of this year) and six ovas.

Ugh, man okay thats it, Im going to get my great great great grandchildren to get the dvds(or whatever the dvd equivalent is in their days) whenever they come out and then just dig up my grave put them in there. I may not bring them to heaven, but I can say they were in my possession. Although I really don't see why anyone in heaven would want to know that or for me in that case.

I thought the same thing about Ranma 1/2. I collected that series for about 10 years, but Viz finally got it all out.

I'm looking forward to more Kodocha as well.

Unfortunately, Funimation does not have the other 52 episodes licensed. So until they (or someone else) takes the step to obtain it, the 13 volumes currently out are all we are going to get.

Apparently, Kodocha has not been a big seller. Many are hoping that a company like RightStuf International will do what they did with Super Gals! and at least offer a subtitled release of the remainder of the series.

I also own the 13 volumes and have been very disappointed with it being dropped like it has.

One day I'll buy the 13 Kodocha DVDs that are out. I just haven't yet because $22 a disc is crazy!!! I don't have that kind of money!! (Netflix'ed them all!)
(Actually, I did find them for $18 at Overstock.com and the first set - DVDs 1-6 - for $48 there too. Overstock really does have some great prices sometimes!)
So... any ideas where I can see the eps subbed then? If the rest ever gets licensed I would definitely go the legal way, but isn't there some way we can still see it now?
