Okay, so far I have...

OVA One
OVA Special Episode: Night After the Carnival
OVA Two
Heart of Darkness (Tenchi movie)

Tenchi Universe
Tenchi In Love (Movie)
Tenchi Forever (Movie)

Tenchi in Tokyo


I'm not interested in Pretty Girl Sammy or Magical Project S, or Tenchi GXP. What I want is to complete my OVA collection by getting all seven eps of the third OVA as well as the Mihoshi Special Episode from OVA one. I think that's everything, right?

Hopefully there are still Tenchi die-hards around who can help me out.

Oh you're talking about the new TM: Ryo Ohki series that Funi picked up? It's all released. First vol is called Here Comes The Bride. Second vol is called Target Tenchi. Third vol is called Final Confrontations and it comes with a special tin if you're into that kinda thing. And Mihoshi Special Episode comes as a dvd by Geneon that comes with Magical Girl Pretty Sammy. There's no other way to get it.

That's a shame because the Pretty Sammy 26 episode TV series is hilarious and well worth the purchase.

When you get the newer OAV there will be some characters presented in it in such a way that they assumed you would know who they are. The reason for that is because many of them are introduced in Tenchi GXP and then appear in the OAV. Might be somewhat confusing at first but as it goes on you should be able to put it all together.

As for Tenchi Muyo Ryo Ohki OVA three, you are in luck.

Funimation is going to put out a box set for it. It will be release on Sep 25 and MSRP of $39.98.

Thanks for the warning, Doc. I resisted those series because I figured they were unnecessary. I guess it all comes down to how much I like Tenchi (or, rather, all those gals...)
