Thank you. We could start a discussion about it if there isn't one already. I have had time to read all the posts on Texhnolyze in this forum. I will later. ;)

Just watched the first two episodes of Mr. Stain on Junk Alley. Wow. Just wow. They really show what you can do without dialog and some good CGI to boot. I think everyone should watch this. Really, you will be impressed.

After 13 episodes: THERE'S STILL. NO. PLOT.

Also, still enjoying Rinne no Lagrange.

what is the robot anime which shall not be named?

Hi and welcome! It's not so much that it must not be named (though we sometimes jokingly say that,) it's just that discussion is discouraged because it has in the past lead to very long, unproductive and antagonizing arguments. It's Evangelion, of course.

Agree, it's quite surreal and slowly paints an universe filled with fantastic occurrences, people and objects. I'd say it will remind some of you of Kaiba. I wasn't too fond of the CGI, but the storytelling is quite powerful. (warning: the stories are more often than not, really sad.)

MasterDias: If you like this, I recommend to you "Scenes of Phantasmagoria", sometimes called simply "Phantasmagoria". Good luck finding it, though.

Well as of right now I've been watching Shugo Chara. Its awesome and its so cute too. Also I was watching Clannad and it seems pretty good I guess but, it kind of gets a bit boring at times and I know its suppose to have a sad ending and I don't really like getting sad. I probably might try and finish it though. I mean I shouldn't just not finish it after its almost close to the end.

I'm pretty sure the 'sad ending' you're thinking about is in the second season, Clannad -Afterstory-. If you want any closure of the stories in the first season, you kinda want to watch that.

On the plus side, it's more interesting than the first season.

NGE 1-4- Interesting, interesting! it's rather addictive, really.

Heroic Age 1-4- This show approaches some things in a way that's really irritating. I don't know what to think of most of it.

Heroman - Up to Episode 6
This kind of lacks the deph that other anime hold. Regardless, it's still a great show. Although, it's hard to get used to the fact the villains are based off of cockroaches...

Gunslinger Girl - Started
Incredibly good. There's a great amount of emotion and spirit put into the story.

Digimon Xros Wars II ep. 14 - Incredibly lame. Another pointless and boring filler episode. I hate that they teased us so much with the crossover last episode and then with this one they are like "lol just kiddingz!!" Hopefully, this week's episode will be better.

Black Butler completed
I really liked how this show ended. It was a nice open-ended kind of thing where the viewer is left to assume what happened. Though with the ending I am wondering what Black Butler II is about. Overall the show was good but not great. It was good enough for to give it an 8 but no higher because even though it was good I have seen a lot better.

Watched Castle in the Sky, which was okay. I didn't see anything wrong with it, per se, I just didn't attach to it very much. But it was cute. Also just finished Princess Mononoke, which I liked quite a bit better even if it is probably going to give me nightmares. =)

You are not alone in this feeling.

Anycase, NGE 5. Interesting, interesting. In the meanwhile, i need to poder if I'm going to watch the last few eps in their originally aired forms, or the director's cut.

Do watch the Director's Cut by all means! The added bits are not just tacked-in stuff or post-revisionism, they are story-relevant stuff that had to be cut for either lack of time or budget. In fact, a couple things in the ending movies become easier of understand thanks to them.

Here's hoping you'll enjoy what I consider to be the greatest animated series ever.

There seems to be quite a few CAAers who loved Castle in the Sky...it took me a long time to even really like it, though it's grown on me quite a bit after repeat viewings.

I just finished Claymore and tonight was planning to start watching, for the second time, Haibane Renmei...but me = tired.

Reached episode 50 in Fairy Tail. So far, I like the series. It's more of a leisure time show to watch while working on projects for me.

Continuing to watch Persona 4. I have a couple episodes to watch up on, but I love the series so far. I'm really excited to where this goes and what ending is used.

I watched the first season of Darker than Black a few weeks ago. It was a pretty meh show for me. I loved the action and art, but the unexplained background and questions were disappointing. It would be nice to know more about the gate, collector's contracts, and what happened to the sky. Overall, it was the characters and art that kept me watching despite the disappointment. Hopefully the second season will explain a bit more.

I've watched a few episodes of FMA: Brotherhood and Magic Knight Rayearth, but nothing really to write about since I'm still formulating my thoughts on the series. So far I like them overall. Brotherhood is darker as expected, but the changes throw me for a loop occasionally. MKR is a fun show despite the cheesiness. I can see a lot of similarities between other magical girl animes which makes for an occasional spot-the-series game.

Finally, I watched the new Macross F movie, Sayonara no Tsubassa. I really liked how it differed from the series. The new ending was a bit unexpected even though I'm not at all surprised with Alto's choice. I loved the new character development especially for Sheryl and Grace. I like Sheryl even more as a character now. The music was good, but I liked the series's soundtrack a bit better overall. The change of outfits for Ranka and Sheryl was nice. I love how each outfit differs even if the songs are (somewhat) similar. Overall, I like the movies as an addition to the series. They added a different depth to the characters even though they felt really rushed at times. The Macross F series is definitely one of my favorites.

You're very welcome, Mao.

I should mention, for clarity's sake, that Xam'd is not a mecha show. It's a sci-fi story that has elements that remind me of older American science fiction. I think this is why I felt that it was made w/ foreign audiences in mind,

No, no, finish NGE first or all other anime you watch in the meantime will seem crappy by comparison :P

LOL! Believe it or not, it's because this one just has a LOT of elements that I highly dislike. The hero that we're supposed to root for lacks any sort of moral compass for himself and attacks to kill others just because he was told to.

G Gundam - up to ep. 13.

Finally, with the appearance of Master Asia, we're getting to the meat of the show, the madness and awesome I came here to watch. The Dark/Devil Gundam's power is growing, Domon's having to fight twice as hard to survive even as he's juggling a budding romance with Rain, and Master Asia (the Undefeated of the East!) is man you only wish you could be. I was sold on this one already, but these last couple episodes just renewed that. Or something like that.
We are loved even though we suck.
