I watched D.Gray-man episodes 8-13 today while sewing a patch, and that will be on hold for a while as I wait for hulu to get more episodes up. I did not like it at first, but at Wyntre's praise I went back to it and realized it was actually really fun. Enjoying it immensely.

I am showing Angelic Layer to my brother finally. We have finished the first 5 episodes. This'll be my third time watching the series all the way through! (First time when I discovered it, second when I showed it to mom, and this time showing my bro). I never get bored of it, it's just so awesome!

Le Chevalier d'Eon 1-5- WooT! I had some intention of picking this up a while ago, and now I finally have. Thank goodness! (have dropped Arakawa and Working in the meanwhile). It manages to keep an interesting mix of politics, history, and the supernatural while keeping to the proper historical timeline. And every time they show a recognizeable landmark, I get a thrill, and practically scream "I've been there! I recognize that! YEAH!" because the people who made this have an incredible eye for detail in terms of locations- which means yes, Versaille actually looks like that! Even if they use CG fairly prodigiously to reproduce it, I forgive them because it looks just like I remember!

And shocker of shockers, I'm watching the dub and I think it's amazing- totally on-par with any of the ghibli dubs, and that's saying something!

Going on a Spice and Wolf marathon because I've been told numerous times I have to see it and the dub expires from hulu tomorrow....I think I'm liking it. It's pretty, can't think of any other word for it. The script, the visuals, the music, it's just pretty.

FMA: Brotherhood episode 56. Duuuuude, this is awesome ^_^ Greed vs. Wrath!

Kaitou Saint Tail episode 6. The introduction of a rival will, I think, help the story pick up a bit more.

And I've watched up to episode...18, I think, of Busou Renkin. A few very surprising twists have saved me from the brink of despairing over this anime, lol :P I didn't expect the surprises to be very surprising, but when one thing was revealed, I even said out loud, "OMG!"

While the original content of FMA doesn't have the same thrill-a-minute excitement and well-executed pacing as Brotherhood does, it wasn't terrible (and the parts of the series that do follow the manga are quite amazing). I haven't seen the movie, and I know there is a bit of a slump in the final third of the series, but that ending is fantastic. It made Vic Mignogna cry, man, come on!

Hi. I am currently watching Yu-Gi-Oh Saturday mornings on the CW4Kids, Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds weekday mornings on Cartoon Network, Naruto Shippuden uncut on iTunes, and some Sonic X.

I also just finished watching the complete D.N. Angel anime series on DVD, and I also recently finished watching the complete subbed Buso Renkin anime on the Viz Anime site.

Now, don't get me wrong, I still like the anime for the most part, especially if I don't compare it to the original. One death near the end actually made me a bit depressed, and it was good, and once my favorite anime. I was referring mostly to the movie.

Just watched Ponyo! It's more whimsical and innocent than some of the other stuff that Miyazaki made, but if you've got little kids, they'll love it!

Just started You're Under Arrest, and oh my gosh, I'm loving it!! Why have I not watched this before? lol.

Also: There are not many anime I can think of that use a song from Vivaldi's Four Seasons for a car chase. This one does. lol. That made the classical music enthusiast in me squee.

FMA: Brotherhood 2-5- Good stuff. I thought the Liore arc was a tad weaker than in the first, but I know, I know- they're rushed. They have to get through some 100+ chapters in a 60+ episode season. The art was a bit different, closer to the manga style, and the story is also different enough in these episodes that I'm not bored to tears. And.... It's FMA. It's awesome! XD

Also finally got around to watching episode 17 of Durarara!!- I want it sitting on my shelf next to Bacanno!, and I really hope they manage to end it well!

I watched Nanaka 6/17 the other night and thought it was really great.

I also watched some of Magical Play last night. It was... less so.

Fushigi Yugi? If you're talking about that, then yeah.... the anime is widely considered pretty shoddy, even for the time it was made. The manga is far superior, if only because you don't have to deal with that aweful animation!

Saw episode 56 of FMA: Brotherhood yesterday. Just as great as ever.

I also watched Durarara!! episode 17. Plot-wise, things seem to be moving towards a boiling-point.....
