Roughly sixty episodes into Detective Conan...and ready for an ending. Ha! Only 500 more episodes left.

Just watched Detective Conan episode 312 & 313.
Phantom_Sorano: You're ready for an ending already??
Nah, you don't want one yet. Wait until the plot thickens a little more later on, then you'll want an ending.
(PS, The filler can get really annoying sometimes, but other times it's pretty good. Just keep at it, it's worth it in the end.)

Also watched Tagami Bachi episodes: 11-16. So now I'm as up to date as I can get without becoming a paying member of CR.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness For His name's sake. Even though I walk though the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. Thou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23

Finally getting to watch the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Must say, I'm loving Crispin Freeman's performance. Didn't know he was in this until after I watched the credits for the first episode. Haven't heard much of his material since s-CRY-ed's Straight Cougar.

Excellent, another convert. Have you seen Baccano!?

I'm about to go for episode 13 of Eureka Seven. This series gets better with every episode, and these last two provided a real sense of danger missing from the previous fights. Which is fine, since small amounts of mooks aren't supposed to be that threatening, but 11 has provided for us a competent and rather scary antagonist. I was shaking a little when I realized I might lose one of these characters to whom I'd become so attached.

Last Exile episodes 19-20

Why is there a war? Why did it end? What is the Guild? What is the Exile? Why is the Exile important? Why does everybody want the Exile? Why is the Guild trying to kill everybody? What happened to that captain's father revenge subplot? Who is Al?

The last six episodes had better be unbelievably fantastic to make up for the fact that nothing happens in the first twenty.

Just started Torodora (which so far, I like very much) and Kobato (what can I say? I'm a CLAMP fangirl! :P) as well as Durarara!! (love it!).

Going to start Moribito next. I found it at Walmart for a little over $20. Yeah, the whole series. Couldn't even believe it, but I was afraid it wouldn't be there next time I go, so I bought it sight unseen. I've heard too much good about it to let that deal go by me.

I'm about to plunge into the first real episode of Eureka Seven's second season, also know as episode 15.

Wow, 13 was surprisingly Eva-like.

Watched STRAIN this weekend. Good mecha anime, bit of nudity in an episode or two, but overall a fun little series with a nice little twist. Definatly worth 26 bucks.

Getting good, no?

Hunter x Hunter - complete. The moment I finished the final DVD, I ordered three volumes of the manga, 11-13 (show covers 1-10).

Fullmetal Alchemist - episode 1. :wow!:

After months of searching I found Bakemonogatari (A.K.A. Monstory or Ghostory) and watched it. The bad part was I could only find up to episode 13.

I also just finished Kemono no Souja Erin, which was great. :)

So, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann The Movie: Lagann-hen. Much like Gurren-hen, the movies are variable on the quality scale compared to the TV series. On the one hand, the movies decrease the amount of material that people weren't that interested in. On the other hand, it's really noticeable and makes for a slightly jarring narrative. The things they added to the movies (especially Nia's increased importance) was fantastic and I wish they'd been a part of the original. It's worth watching even if you think the originals were perfect, because there is definitely some material that's improved.

I wasn't quite sure if I should watch the movies or not, so thank you for the review. Have the movies been licensed and released in the west?

I'm currently watching Eureka Seven. Fantastic series, through and through.

Maybe it's worth to note that the 4th DVD/Blu-ray was just released, including the remaking of that episode with mostly photographic stills for backgrounds and tons of text cards.

I started Last Exile and I cannot be stopped! It's an awesome series. I'm considering to say "Gonzo's best" but there are still a couple of their shows I need to watch.

Precisely what I said the first time I saw the first episode :thumb:

Kodocha episode 7. :dizzy: Crazy as ever. And looks like I might be finding out a bit more about "Rei-kun."

FMA: Brotherhood episodes 40-41. Awesome as ever.

FMA: Brotherhood OVAs 1 and 2. Amazing OVAs. Hilarious, and so true to the characters even though they made up a whole lot of stuff. Well, I think I've got the Japanese word for "armor" down now: yoroi.

FMA (first series) episode 26. I burst out laughing when I realized that Vic must have been voicing the dapper young man in Rush Valley.

EDIT: And I totally forgot, but I marathoned the whole first season of Gunslinger Girl. Loved it. It's like Haibane Renmei...with guns :3 Wonderful character interaction, introspection, and good ol' heartfelt anime emotions, spattered with blood-rushing action. I also liked the questions of morality they brought up, like whether cyborgs are really human and whether what they're doing is right or not.

OK, you are really making me want to watch that show. "HR with guns" is a truly intriguing description. The ethical angle sound pretty cool as well.

About to watch episode 15 of FMA.

*Edit: OK, I just finished ep 25. I was truly moved. I really didn't see it coming. One of the most poignant single episodes of anime I've ever seen. It is with a heavy heart that I press onward to 26.

Yugo The Negotiator eps 4-5.

I started this show a while ago, but due to how hard it is to find I didn't get around to watching it 'till now. It's truly great! And way to underrated.
