Samurai 7 episodes 17-22
Umineko no Naku Koro ni episode 17-19

If I can say one thing for Samurai 7, it has successfully convinced me to watch the original film, if only to see how much better this premise was intended to be under the proper handling.

Also, Katsushiro sucks. Needs more Heihachi.

On the other hand, Umineko is going to be hilarious when episode 26 rolls around.

Disc 4 of Wolf's rain, season 1. These episode were all recapts told by different people, so they were not real exciting.

So Nanoha A's SS3 was a nice wrapup to the entire A's season. The epilogue we were left with at the end of A's was pretty short and we've got ten years in between that and StrikerS. A's SS3 lets us see the characters in a situation together chilling out before they become Riot Force 6 in StrikerS. We also get to see the normal human characters (Nanoha's friends and family) after they've learned about magic and all that and we see the beginnings of the Wolkenritter working together with the TSAB.

Nanoha StrikerS SS1 answered the question that I had while watching StrikerS, which was, what about earth? StrikerS SS1 has RF6 go on a mission on earth, where we get to see that, actually, all of the characters have been keeping in touch after all. Again, this contains a lot of relationship building and character development that didn't make it into the show, but is great supplementary material. It was nice to see the normal girl side of Nanoha, Fate, and Hayate again after all of their time in StrikerS is spent being famous military officers.

I'm really enjoying Letter Bee, Umineko, Kobato and to my surprise Fairy Tail. I was so sure they would mess up the transition from manga to anime.

Nyan Koi is really funny, but it likes dancing on the edge of what's appropriate. I probably won't end up keeping the series when I'm done with it.

Kimi ni Todoke is like my personal secret stash of crack. It's so romantic and not at all manly but I can't stop watching it :D It's the first series I've watched where I wanted to reach through the screen and choke a character.

Sacred Blacksmith is... well not too bad I guess. Too bad the dvd's are gonna be so sexed up, I might have bought it otherwise if it improved once the plot got going.
Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

Classic Dragonball... I saw a bit of it before, on Cartoon network, but now I'm seeing it uncensored. It's a weird mix of old fashioned cheesiness with some... WTFudge moments... It's so stupid and so funny... At least at this point in the show. I guess toward the later point of DB, it starts to become more like what DBZ was, which annoys the crap out of me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

I just watched the first third of Darker than Black:Ryuusei no Gemini. They really knew how to grab my attention on this one.
Putting Yin in the box made me YESSSSSSSS!!!!! I've been waiting about the entire show for them to bring her back. If Suoh kills her, I will hate her forever. One of my favorite aspects of Yin was how they developed her from an emotionless doll, and despite it being subtle, developed it, and that really made her interesting to me. If she dies, I think I may swear revenge against Bones.
I've finished Higurashi ni Naku Koro ni Kai a while back. I was very pleased with the ending, but of course it had to be good after so many "bad" (i.e. unhappy) endings. XD

I've also caught up on the FMA Brotherhood episodes up until number 26 and I'm loving it!

These are things that more people need to watch.

I was rewatching Kara no Kyoukai 1 with my housemates tonight and holy crap is this a series that warrants rewatching. There is so much stuff that I missed the first time, because of the things that I caught from the later chapters and from the way I watch stuff now. This also really made me excited for the last movie. Less than a month to go. ヽ( ゚∀゚)ノ

Bakemonogatari episode 5
Darker Than Black - Ryuusei no Gemini episodes 1-3

I believe I've already expressed my feelings as far as all things Darker Than Black are concerned. As for Bakemonogatari, the snail arc felt a little slow (probably the point), but it's still pretty enjoyable. I just hope the next arc changes it up a bit after being lost and wandering for three episodes.

Currently watching all of Robotech. It's a long series, I kinda like that, so it's not over too quickly. My dad showed me the third chapter a few years ago, 'cause that was his favorite, and it was awesome! But I always wanted to see it from the beginning, so we're going to watch all of chapter 1, 2, and 3 all straight through!

Just finished watching Heroic Age and Spice and Wolf. Both because of comments here in CAA, and both easily made it into my top ten.

Others I'm watching:
Aria the Natural
Book of Bantorra
Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu
Sora No Otoshimono

Since my housemates are watching Kara no Kyoukai, I've been dropping in on the really cool scenes and listening from my room for the rest. Something that I've been really impressed with is just how pervasive the theme song for each movie is throughout the OST. I guess that's the advantage of having the composer for the series also compose and direct the theme songs.

Beyond that, I'm struck again by just how good the movies look. ufotable is definitely top tier for being able to pull this series off so well. And from what I can tell, Kara no Kyoukai is not exactly a simple piece of work to adapt.
