Episodes five and six of Samurai 7, episode 13 of Gun Frontier (finished), and episode 10 of Shikabane Kime: Kuro.

I have one question for anyone who's seen Samurai 7. Did the 7th episode look rather strange, art quality-wise? I started it, but it looked so odd that I thought it might be my DVD player. I tried it on my PC though, and it looks the same.. 0_o

I'm about 3 or 4 episodes away from the end of FMA.

In the almost anime category, I have finally finished Avatar: The Last Airbender. I almost missed the last 2 episodes, since for some unknown reason the TV station moved their whole schedule one hour earlier.
Things I enjoyed: Aang/Fire Lord and Zuko/Azula fights. Planet Aang and the machine gun earth bending were very cool.

Things I would have preferred different: The Azula/Katara fight ended a bit abruptly and I would love to know how you fight lightning with water. I might have mistaken blue fire for lightning though. I've never been an Aang/Katara-shipper. It's always seemed contrived to me so if they left that bit out at the end I think it would have been better.
That's all I can think of now. I thoroughly enjoyed the series though.

Soul Eater 51: Can't say I liked the final arc, mostly because it wasn't as cool as what was going on in the manga.

Minami-ke Okaeri: Not as bad as Okawari, but certainly doesn't live up to the first season. At this point, I doubt that asread can capture the glory of the first season. I will say that they're very good at listening though, because a lot of the issues from Okawari were addressed.

Maria+Holic: It's SHAFT, it's Shinbo, and it's really completely random. In terms of narrative style, it's a lot like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Best OP/ED sequences of the season though.

Higurashi Rei 02: Serious story arc time. Also, if your friends tell you a truck is coming on the road, listen to them.

Started off the new season right with K-ON. It's not really anything groundbreaking, but it's KyoAni and it's slice of life, and the ED is awesome.

More new season impressions.

Asura Cryin' 01: Generic characters; the world isn't set up very well yet, there are a billion different factions; where'd that mecha come from?

Hayate no Gotoku!! 01: Unless you follow this sort of news, you probably wouldn't notice that the studio producing HnG changed to JC Staff. The art changes aren't that big or noticeable, although I did like that the colours seemed more deep. Other than that, a nice return to a manga arc they skipped over.

FMA 01: I wasn't too excited for FMA to return. Then I watched the first episode. I am excited for FMA to return. Also YUI OP = YES.

Saki 01: I wasn't expecting too much out of this. So far, it's been nice and entertaining. I will say that the Mahjong action was pretty intense, even though I had no idea what was going on. This is the first time since Last Exile that I've enjoyed GONZO's CG.

Natsu no Arashi 01: I have no idea what the hell this is about. There appears to be some time travelling powers. I don't like the character designs. Will stick around for now.

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

FMA new series ep. 1. XD

Is it just me or do the characters all look a little wider than the first series? Anyways, it's a total bag full of awesome! My timing finishing the other series couldn't have been better.

Finished Scrapped Princess... it was good up till the last episode. I thought the ending was a little stupid. Those two should have never come back to life and it was never explained why they did other than to give the show a happy ending.

Still good show though...
